Just saw Banshees of Inisherin, been wondering why people have been talking in weird Irish accents everywhere lately. Totally get it now, it's the year of trying to talk like Colin Farell. Excellent movie, good craic so it is Colm, I'll see yer down de pub den shall I.
Hard case movie, I'm guessing you've seen Martin McDonagh's first movie In Bruges?

Saw the 70's movie The Warriors last night for the first time.

Can't believe I slept on this classic. It's a banger that definitely holds up.

They should play this clip before each Warriors game 😀

The title in itself tells me it’s gonna be a frustrating disappointment, but I’ll take your word it’s a classic and will check it out
Haha I It's The Warriors, not The One Warriors or whatever the fuck we are called now.

Personally I couldn't finish the Warriors movie. Was falling asleep watching them run around town acting poorly with terrible dialogue. Maybe I had to be there...

The Last of us.

Sorry it’s a TV series not movie.

Two episodes in.

So fucking good.

Pedro Pascal - amazing actor. Absolutely love this guy

Up to Episode 5 now, still a good watch.

The question is....are they going to wreck it by going on too long? Pascal can carry it for a long time, Bella Ramsey was a good choice, funny looking kid, the show is all the better for it.

They seem to understand that it is better to kill dark characters (no spoilers) quickly....other shows are really trying with their dragging out baddies until you are well sick of them.

I saw some discussion on this movie earlier today.

They have a 30 year old Jennifer Laurence having to sleep with a families 19 year old son to get a car so she can continue her job as an Uber driver.

It's something we have seen in Hollywood before so the premise isn't unique.

Now what is surprising is that the woke mob who would be jumping up and down if the roles were reversed.

Just the usual hypocrisy of Hollywood.

The discussions also went on to other actresses that could of worked or how they (a few were writers) would of changed the story.

I decided to check out the trailer myself. It looked something I'd watch if it came up on a streaming service.

Anyone watched Chris Rock's special on Netflix?

I've only seen clips of it but might try and check it out.

Will Smith slaps Chris Rock in front of the world but doesn't apologise to Chris Rock in person but more to the academy. Chris Rock does what comedians do and makes jokes about it. Now Will and Jada are upset and make out like they are the victims.

I thought it was a bit meh. Seemed to be more cathartic for him than funny for me. I guess he isn't really my type of comedian. More of a Ricky Gervais, Jimmy Carr fan.

Yeah he goes to town of Jada, certainly can tell he’s not a fan. Liked a lot of Rocks earlier stuff and I’m not a fan of censoring comedy at all but I feel we are seeing the death of this kind of stand up with todays climate- in saying that I saw him a couple of years back in Sydney and he made both paedophile and jokes about being able to hunt aboriginals that I’ve never seen a more flat awkward reaction from an audience so there are definitely things that don’t fly even in shock comedy anymore
