Misi as been resigned until the end of 2008.

Good lord the title to your post gave me a start. Resign and re-sign mean two entirely different things afterall ;)

Good to see the Warriors are keen on keeping Misi though.

That is really good to see. He is one that I don't know that well but,
gee, I like his work.

Hope they have made it worth his while, I'm sure they have.

Cheers

We havn't seen this guy make a line break yet so we can't really judge him. I remember manu's first line break-intercept straight away you knew great potentiel, so still waiting to see what this guy can do.

Vatuvei, Mannering, and Taulapapa all re-signed. That's a backline full of potential when you consider Ah Van and Vuna are sniffing around for a first grade spot as well.

I would say Misi's resigning means the warriors will lose Webby. Misi will be groomed for the full backs role.

But thats just me reading into it.

I've renamed the thread title, because I keep seeing resign instead of re-sign...lol...

Not sure that his D is quite up to the full back spot.

Could be wrong though.

Rumor has it that Awen may not be offered a contract for next year... which could mean the club wants to free up a bit of money for the likes of Webby.
Pure speculation at this stage though ;)

a sign of a club moving forward
and wanting to retain its fountations for the future betterment of our club
though it seems likely some of the veterans could be donning our colours for the last time
either way im sure most of us will be here
for seasons ahead

I don't understand the reason for that, unless he asks for a release. We can offer him an extra $100,000 without it having any impact on the salary cap, so why not keep him?

Yeah i agree are people saying he's not worth 100,000 cause thats crap. Villisanti's gone george t never looks like hes gonna get a chance so for a 100,000 hell yeah.

Its confirmed, Manu in 2. misi in 5 ladies & gentlemen, we nearly have our best possible team, now to put george t on the bench instead of toops .I wish for cohesion & nothing else this week, cause if we play AS A TEAM we will win anyway. Great news. By the way byrne's the 18th man.
