A classy, consistent footballer, Noovao captained the Colts in 1995 and played anywhere from halfback to center. he proved that he was even more versatile in 1996, making the transition into the forwards at times and showing good form at hooker when required. A capable left-footed goalkicker, Meti was a Cook Islands representative at the 1995 World Cup and is the brother of former New Zealand netball captain Anna.

Yep. Back in 1999-2000. Warriors had the same sort of arrangement as they did with the Dolphins this year. We would send our reserve grade and development players to Burleigh and Wynnum Manly. If I remember correctly the Bears were at the bottom of the table the season prior and in 1999 they won their division...
