According to this weeks RLW, Mark Graham still wants to punch Stacey Jones for signing with the Warriors in 2000 after the Tainui troubles... He also claims that Stacey had to train on his own during this period because everyone else in the Kiwis disapproved?

True/False/Somewhere in between? I'm going for the third option.

If SBW wants to be an All Black he must enjoy losing....

the kiwi's have contested just one world up in the last 8 years . . . .

+ the won the Tri Nations, which is comparable.

AB's have choked on the big stage on a regular basis.

But the game of rugby is just pathetic, all those boring forward battles, pick and go, scrummaging, stupid lin-outs, playing a shit game like that is a lot of sacrifice to pay just to become a show-pony All Black.

What a clown. Guess who our coach was in 2000 - yep, Mark Graham! So he's either saying he wishes he didn't have a player of Jones' skill to pick every week, or he's upset that he got dumped at the end of 2000 for a certain Daniel Anderson, the most successful coach this club has ever had! (Although that may change in time, courtesy of one of Anderson's players, Ivan Cleary.)

ease up, rugby isn't that bad, in fact a lot of people enjoy the game.

I like watching my teams and I don't mind watching good games.

The all blacks winning ratio is around 70% which is pretty impressive. it's the highest out of all the countries that play union.

the fact there has only been one rugby league world cup in 8 years show how much of a shambles international league really is. the all blacks have indeed choked at the world cups recently without question but they have also performed very well in between the world cups too.

The all blacks later this year will be playing in Hong Kong in front of a packed stadium. This is something the Kiwis can only dream of happening. international league still has a long way to go and the world cup this year is a great step. Hopefully the tri nations will also continue and maybe france will be invited to join too. the catalans have come good in the super league so their future seems very bright.

I've got this weeks RLW and here's the quote from MG...

"I couldn't play alongisde him again (SBW). No Way. I still want to knock out Stacey Jones for signing with the enemy in 2000 when the Auckland Warriors were bought out. That's how passionate I am about this type of greedy stuff and I know the Kiwi players would be filthy too. Back then, Stacey had to train separately to the rest of the Kiwi team they were that angry so I wouldn't like to see their reaction if Sonny tried to come back."

Cheers 2b2s.

Wtf? As JB said, wasn't he coach in 2000? Didn't he have to sign on and agree to coach and therefore support the new regieme through these actions?

Also weren't the Tannui tribe insolvent and that's why the franchise collapsed? It really asks more questions that answer them.

Yep, Eric Watson bought the Warriors for $1. Hardly greedy stuff now is it.

Wonder if the Leeds and Souths teams enjoyed playing in front of a packed stadium in Jacksonville?

I Mark Graham talking about SBW switching codes? Graham was the Blues defensive coach last season.

Mark Graham!!! that clown played 50 times better and more passionately for the Bears than he ever did for the Kiwis.
Why do people hate on the AB's so much? Go abroad for a while and I guarantee you would appreciate them. They are consistently the best team in the world and are the side every nation aspires to beat, you only have to see the Springboks reaction to beating them to see that.

Just saw on NRL 360 that the great Mark Graham has been inducted into the Rugby League Hall of Fame.
Well deserved and awesome recognition for arguably (and in my opinion) NZ’s greatest player.
Congrats to the legend!

He was great. He was unlucky that he played at Norrhs ( my favourite team at that time). If he’d been at one of the top sides he would have been an immortal.

Legend.

Certainly one of my childhood heroes, Ali, Bruce Lee, Mark Graham.

Well done Aussies

Lasting memory of him cutting loose at Eden Park, busting the Aussies open....looking left and right to pass.....I looked on in Awe and thought...that's footballer....looking for his mates
