Thompson is the father of Parramatta, NSW, Fiji and Australian representative Jarryd Hayne. He married Tamara Regan and they have 3 children, Evie born in 2002, Jonah born in 2005 and Julius born in 2010.

Very little to go by since our last update where he was truck driving in Sydney. Only thing I can find on him is this video that looks like he's still in a truck. A delivery truck by the looks of it. Turn your volume down.
Last article I can find is this one from 2017 thats a bit of a bore.
From what I can tell he is still heavily involved in Fijian Rugby League in Sydney but I havent been able to find out if he is still on the Board like our last update. He was at the Kaiviti Silktails game for the Ron Massey Cup with a few other Fiji Bati old boy legends. Thats on the far left.
As you can see from these recent photos from 2019 and 2021 hes still in great shape for 54yo...

Thompson (born on June 11, 1968) was signed for the Auckland Warriors’ debut season from Western Suburbs having previously played for South Sydney. He had just one campaign with the club but will always be remembered for the role he played in the club’s first try, his superb pass setting Whetu Taewa free to create Phil Blake’s touchdown. Thompson signed with Warrington in 1996 and also played in France. He has since become better-known as the great Jarryd Hayne’s father (Jarryd was seven when his father was with the Auckland Warriors). Thompson, a truck driver in Sydney, has a strong association with Fijian rugby league.
NRL career: 75 games (1989-1995), 118 points (29 tries, 2 field goals).
Warriors: 7 games (1995), 0 points.

Yes he was a standout, I thought he would be a great signing for the club based on his form there...I was wrong. A tremendous athlete with a very deceptive turn of speed for a big man. Sadly he didn't stand out here.

I didn't know that.
So that was Brandy, Manoa, and the two Poms. Actually only Andy Platt was injured, Denis Betts had a bulging wallet slowing him down.

Jared's playing style was like Manoa, but more evasive. Manoa could take the ball at speed and break the line with the smallest of gaps. Jared could float.
