Ok jesus. Take the bits you want out of context as usual. The prostitute reference you have chosen, ever heard of repenting for your sin?
He that is without sin among you cast the first stone? (Paraphrasing, but another example Christ gave).

That and judge not really does make it VERY clear to me what the man was about, and this is a perfect being, a deity, King of Kings, the highest upon high of all figures in Anglo Saxon and many other modern societies.

There were 'Sodomites' in the time of Christ as has been the case in the entire history of humanity, yet the God figure on earth who Christians rip their name from did not declare an exclusion to Same sex relationships.

This is a diety we are told in the story who walked among us, a man a God figure who battled Satan himself with his ministries.

A figure who according to the Christian Bible only lost his temper once....and his rightcheous anger was directed at mortal figures within organized religion, the money lenders of the temple.

Gee I prolly should have been a Church goer, but I studied western Phillosophy and to understand pakeha culture and some of its intrinsic values, you have to study Judeo Christian Phillosophy because it shapes and programs pakeha thinking whether consciously or not.

The players in question are from Indigenous societies where culturally the third gender is a Norm.

Their objections are driven by colonization and Christianity is the most powerful engine for colonization.

In otherwords their objection does not align with tradition, it aligns with post colonial programming.

Ask yourself who converted them to their intolerant religious beliefs? In this regard I have deep sympathy for them, the church was brought to them by the West....now the West/the NRL is changing the landscape....and these people are now victimized for being loyal to old Western values based in spirituality....it goes without saying that Indigenous people are spiritual above all other tenants in their way of being.

Ive said this before about indigenous people. They/We were already out scouting the globe. Theres evidence that ancient polynesian carvings marked around the world dating far beyond colonization dates. Indigenous had already experienced ideologies before they missionaries came. We werent forced into religion and instead we celebrate it. Could have just killed tge crazy white man. In Cook Island history English werent the first to arrive. French and others had already bet met prior but they carried on to tahiti ( near the cook islands).

We had established our own previous ideology about God but found someone who explained it further. Christianity was accepted by the Arikis (Chiefs) of the time. 16 islands so more than 16 Arikis who agreed.

So yes your right in a way. Christianity was a big factor to the colonization. But no where near like in the way our Maori brothers experienced their encounter.

Chiefs with different ideologies and at war with each other because they were territorial didnt help when all of a sudden a couple european boys walk up with guns influencing decisions.

I've spoken to 2 Polynesian guys, 1 being a work mate who disagree with what the 7 have done. Other guy is 1 of my closest mates who's old man used to be a church pastor. He's Samoan btw. He fully disagrees with what those players done on the grounds of young people hurting themselves due to being outcasted of society. Rest of you can go fuk yourselfs!

ramps Keep laughing bro, it's a laughing matter... When you can argue the point I'm right here. Btw i come from a culture that's totally against homosexuality. The fact my parents can accept this shit and you're still against it speaks volumes bro. Btw i respect you for the courage to speak up in this situation. I know the world we live in and don't agree with everything.

Anybody got any recommendations for a good place to buy the 2022 Retro Manly jersey? Other than the official store (hoping there may be somewhere a little cheaper), especially for someone based in NZ.

And yes, I do like Manly. And I hate you too.

So is Des saying the Sea Eagles board deliberately didn't tell the management about the jersey change, knowing the effect that it would have on the player group and knowing what negative effect that would have on the Sea Eagles season and therefore Des' ability to fulfill his contractual obligations - Top 6 as I understand it - so they could give him the flick?

Crafty. I don't think Des, even with Saul Goodman at his slimiest/schemeist best would get that through, though.

The Board could use the "We jus' po' simple folk, y'honour!" argument ie "We're leaguies! Not Rhodes Scholars!" Or blame the owners. Or, even more likely, say they honestly didn't expect it would be such a problem amongst the playing group, what are they, mind readers?!
