I think the Warriors just have the edge on Manly if we can contain and tackle turbo out of the game we are half way there..... Im not sure how Brown is going to manage his bench since he wants Chanel Harris-Tavita out there... Im assuming itll be Murchie who gets cut, and like some on here I would rather rest Tevaga instead, hes not been his usual energetic self last couple weeks, rest could do him good and Murchie could probably do with a run.... also thinking Chanel Harris-Tavita to the bench to sub Kody, who'll most likely sub Egan... to many variables, anyway would leave Walsh out there been to good and would only pull him if hes having a shocker, its upto Chanel Harris-Tavita to be picked and not just walk back into halfback mantle...... waiting on a complete performance from the Warriors....... 28-14

Last time we played them it was a cripplefest, should be better today. Walsh in the halves will create havoc hopefully and I'd like to see Kodi spell Egan. Might be a few holes round the ruck.

Yep another sunny one for us. I think you are right that Chanel Harris-Tavita and Aitken are huge ins for us defensively. It should only leave Ken and Walsh as the real issues

The best way to limit Turbo will be for our forwards to establish some dominance. Perfect opportunity to do that with their starting Props out, no specialist Hooker and must have an effect on their Bench.

Despite the NRL’s directive that indiscretions that deliberate slow or break the play down will result in sin bins there have been many instances this round where the ref has failed to follow through. What are the odds that one will be pulled out in the Warriors game?

We still have to earn this win. The sea eagles may be down a few players in the forwards, but that doesn’t mean they can’t match or even better us. Last time out, we took them too easy mentally and got beaten by a team down in confidence.

this is a different Manly team only a few weeks later. I’ll never forgive them for the 2011 grand final - even though for many years they were my second team.

this is a must win game for us if we want to play September footy. We have to come out firing and want this more than them. Desire, hunger and the ruthlessness to want to put a foot on the throat of this mob is what I want to see.

I want to see a dominant performance for 80 minutes, not Champagne for 40 minutes and shit for the other.

this needs to be the week we make a statement.

One thing we’re yet to see is Walsh running down a dead cert breakaway try.

I’m confident he has us covered as he reads the game so well and has the speed!

This will happen plenty of times in his career I’m imagining 👍

With the log jam of teams around 7-12, we really can’t afford to lose this game. If we do, and we don’t make the 8 I’m sure it will be these two games against Manly that we look at come seasons end. We really shouldn’t have lost that first one against them, we can’t make the same mistake again.

Anyway, I feel strangely confident about this game today. Shutting down Turbo and DCE will be key, if we’re able to do that our forwards should (in theory) get on top of ours, with Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Walsh, Nikorima and co having loads of opportunity to run.
