Impressive
Not wanting to take anything away from the bloke but how do his defence stats rank compared to other centres in general (not just the rep players) a bit harsh to compare a guys defence in his first season with rep centres
Tackle breaks?

i think his defencive reads have been great all year. he seems to regularly pick the right time to commit to a tackle or shift focus or shut down a runner. imo hes showing the advantage of playing a specialist and a guy who has the right attributes for the position, speed, power and smarts.

Im glad you added smart... it's such an underrated asset, Konrad sounds fresh, but he is obviously smart.

Dont want to bag Benry but what are his stats? he must be close to the worst centre in the league? Even though he does nothing wrong, its just that he does nothing

Gee he reminds of of a young Olsen Filipania. Olsen was a real good goal kicker. Does Konrad kick goals ?

He'll be in a Blues jersey before we know it. I can hear Ricky punching in his number now.

now if we had halves or a running back rower(ala glen stewart) who could set him up or give a good inside pass he's be more damaging

we got a scoring machine out wide but haven't a clue how 2 use him

So he's scored 6 tries in 6 games going by actual game time, and we dont know how to use him?

I'm not sure what you expect exactly.

if we set him up more with the inside pass close to the line instead of letting him smash into the forwards...wanna preserve the kid

wont have a long career if just used as a battering ram....put him one on one with his man

Using an outside back as a battering ram is going splendidly for Manu. Wrong thread, I know.

Completely agree with smac19 here, even though he is great as a battering ram I think that we need to create more plays for him to take on his man one on one, on the line and earlier in sets.

Of course we want him in one on one situations as much as possible, thats the ideal situation for all attacking players... but saying they dont have a clue how to use him, when he's
scored 6 tries in as many games is overstating a bit.

eh...what football have you been watching
still struggling a little on defence for sure ...have a look at his missed tackle count
However, he is improving all the time

He is a worse defender than any centre atm..but improving all the time

Hurrells building and he is going to be one of the Warrior Centers, we are very very lucky. HE could have been held back in the Vulcans but got an exemption for being an Elite NYC player...

Long may that continue, the next big thing in our NYC squad shouldn't go near the Vulcans. Start with a four game test out in the NRL.
