Internationals Kiwis vs Kangaroos 2018

That press conference where they named the team still sticks in my mind. Was so Mickey Mouse. Nikau and Kidwell sitting there nervously laughing while Adam Blair called in on the phone.

It was a shambles and worse still it was allowed play out in front of the media, one of the lowest points in New Zealand rugby league.

How is Moses Suli eligible to play for the Kiwi's? he was born in Sydney to Tongan parents. Has he lived in NZ as a youngster?

Just going to throw is out there, but JT13 hasn't been the ABSOLUTE NUKE that he was in the past this year. I'm not as bummed about him leaving the team any more. Fusitua is a loss, but lets be honest - he's still a winger. He's more replaceable than say a half or a hooker.

His parents are probably nz citizens.
That's how a lot of people get into Australia- nz is a stepping stone.

Had a passport issue last time he was meant to play in NZ, classic Moses Suli.

That's true and the Cows average season wouldn't have helped but
IMO he'd still walk into any of the national teams...Roos included.

Oh yeah, he'd definitely still make whatever team he wanted to, but he's just in the kind of form that makes me think the world is ending (like last year)

I reckon Joseph Manu has got a centre spot sewn up. Even moreso if the Roosters go deep in the finals.
Anyone know how long Whare is out of action for?

He’ll be right to go in a few weeks.

He’s probably the most in form Center option tbh, would be an interesting matchup if he were to mark Mitchell against the Kangaroos in October.

So true...and shit they have had some!!!...us old timers could run a thread on good Kiwi disaster stories...but they still survive:)
No benji in the wider squad... thought he has been in form this year
Not playing in the finals...I haven't checked but I think only Masters, Rapana, Ah Mau, Taupau and Proctor aren't in the finals. Geez that is one tough forward pack. I like the look of this.

Joseph manu has done some freakish stuff this year; he’s just not an Aussie so the Aussie commentators don’t get as hard over him. In saying that gasnier is a huge fan. Would have him in a warriors jumper any day over Latrell

Proctor wouldn't make my team...Ah Mau is still playing finals.

There's a real Melbourne flavor to that pack- 3 current, 3 past.
I like it.
A lot of old heads and combos from past glory, but enough New blood.
Solid defensive back row, large props.
Rapana I think would tear Shit up outside masters I think.

Tapine will be a loss. He was one of the few who stood out last time.
