Warriors will still be paying part of his salary, unless there was some fine print in his salary that got them off the hook - off field behaviour, send off etc.
Been wondering about this? Is this true for NRL contract going to superleague? 🤔 prehaps a sweetener to encourage him to go?

Yeah I thought the paying part of contract thing was NRL only, and super league is essentially voiding your current contract and picking up a new one

He needs to keep out of the pubs in Hull, there are some real rough holes. Never felt particularly safe there. Other than that I quite like the place, very friendly

Well, the Warriors told Kane he wasn't wanted, not the other way around, so certainly the Warriors would be chipping in a fair chunk of his salary for 2022. I can't be bothered looking up whether he had a contract for 2023 with the Warriors, but if he did, I'd imagine the Warriors would be sending a chunk that year's salary Hull's way as well.

Unfortunately and I add by his own hand he became a meme.
You can't have a meme player , it's untenable lol
He, like mad jack before him, gave us plenty to chew over on the forum and plenty of entertainment
We were never going to win the premiership this year. Kane gave us all some newspaper headlines and he single handedly stopped people beating up on Walsh in the tackle. Ie opposition props were really actually beating up Walsh by getting him in vicious headlocks for an unecessary amount of time to scare him away from tackle contact so he would become ineffective.
Our soft cock forwards let Reece be rubbed out and intimidated. Only Kane came out swinging and after that game Addin Fonua-Blake and jazz started to lay down the law and Reece got more room to operate.
The only reason we let him go is that our stoush against the Titans led by Kane and lodge was pointless even if his previous scraps had been good.
And when he got 5 games suspension management did the maths and figured he was out for 20 percent of the season right off the bat.
Had he not been suspended against Titans my main shistaine would still be in the team.
Main shistaine was a playground name we used in form one in the 1980s
We were UFOs
Useless form ones

Profile

Hull FC announced the signing of international forward Kane Evans in October 2021 as preparations ramped up for the subsequent season.

The former Sydney Roosters, Parramatta Eels and New Zealand Warriors front rower stands at 6t 7inches tall, towering over the vast majority of anybody who stands in his way.

The bullish prop is regarded as an aggressor in the pack, adding another dimension to Hull’s forward options.

Evans has represented his country, Fiji, on several occasions, featuring alongside fellow 2021 recruit Joe Lovodua.

He made his Hull FC debut against Castleford Tigers in March 2022, and scored his first try in Black & White colours against Toulouse Olympique in April 2022.
