It was sad to see another Kiwi great passing away.
He was a Randwick stalwart and a member of the victorious 1971 team, who defeated Aust.

That 1971 Kiwi team is the first one I remember watching when I properly understood the game, I was 11 at the time. They were simply too powerful in the threequarters for GB
