I usually dont rate Kimmorley but I gotta say he's bang on when he says the team has no attacking structure, no flowing backline, appalling kicking game, just pushing up running one out, relying solely on brute strength.

They're a team chock full of players that have been used to just running over the top of their opposition their whole lives, and it's all most of them are any good at.

I can't believe how horrible Mason Lino was tonight. He was incapable of leading a team around. Makes me wonder even more, why we ditched Meads mid-season. At least that kid was a big game player who could step up when Carlos wasn't around. Lino is the exact opposite of a big game player. He looked pretty good for most of the season (or the little bit that Sky chose to show, anyway) and then looks totally lost in the finals.

The whole team where a letdown tonight. Even the senior players like Taukiaho and Omar looked like crap. Not sense of urgency until 2 minutes from full time. They must have thought there was still another half to go.

Crap finish to a crap season for the club. It a little embarrassing for such a dominant team for so long to go out like that.

My one comment ... Why has Slaimankhel turned to custard since his first grade debut? He did nothing wrong tonight, but never got the reward and instead any good effort was given an error or mistake, but why has he had no luck since he made his first grade debut?

anyway, six months off see you in march '13 - go the dogs for first grade and dragons for 20s.

The kid is still under 18 - its not his fault he was thrusted into his position - clearly ackland loves him
I think especially with no proper halves partner.

Again nor was it Hiku's fault - who is only a make shit halfback (which doesnt work with such as young/quiet 7)
They should of left him at fullback - then have a halve to call on. (they do have plenty on their books)

I told you all Omar is rubbish ..he cant play fullback to save his life.
Cant run any proper lines nor pass the ball.

Why didnt the coach make some drastic changes?
Havili has played plenty of footy in the halves - would of done a better job.

Also like some have said - why dont they have another genuine alternative for the halves???
Tuimavave is made of glass - he was injured numerous times this past year and the last.

See him when he had to defend as prop (which he should be there all the time)

The biggest postives - both wingers were great. Fusitua and Lolohea.
Fusitua could probably carve out a career in ARL if he wanted too.
Lolohea has NRL potential - we just need sam perrett or Nightingale to mentor these wingers - to do the 1% etcv.

I know the Hukatai is a winger (not a centre) and he too haves a possible future on the wing in the NRL

I think Kimmorley would be one of the worst out there and I would put those two muppets performaces up there with Voss and Fitler together. Bradbrook or whatever is name is hasn't a clue and Kimmorley is the exact reason why not every ex player should automaticlly becoem a broadcaster. Is it just me or are the really great players fair and balanced while the average ones are almost vindictive and even jelious at times. It's like they enjoy running others down or feel as if they have something to prove. It's not just league I've noticed this in other sports, cricket is very bad fro it. I guess some people just can't shake their insecurities. I was watching with the volume down by the second hald, they were killing the game for me.

While Lino was a disapointment lets keep it real, he has two more years in the grade and was largely on his own trying to run the ship. That team will be outstanding next season, I'm gutted for them tonight but the results over the last few years speak for themselves.

I agree with lino, he is only young.
Though its the warriors mgmt staff problem why they havent developed any halve options. (or selected any halve options).

The team wont be outstanding, the players for the most are outstanding but they play dumb footy.
And have done so for the past few years.
Even Johnson played terrible footy at times.

I'm sure you will come back with how you are the only one with the league knowledge to have any real opinion about the Juniors, but I have to disagree with you on 2 counts.

To say Ackland is a crap coach and should be replaced by Ricky Henry is total bollocks. How can you deny 2 premierships and a finals berth in the last 3 seasons. How did Henry go this year???

And again you talking crap saying Omar has never been any good. His recent form has not been good at all, but he still has a phenominal try scoring strike rate over 3 seasons (almost a try a game), and before this year, his defence and reading of the game were exceptional.

Pull out all the big words and insults, about how I only know what I am told, you want, but you will never convince me to agree with your opinion on these two things, and I am quite suspect on many of your other opinions. You sound a little like facefacts when he gets hung up on something (like Manu).

The leadership group has changed this year for the 20's, so some of those kids are still finding there feet. It's a big step from playing local comp and age group finals footy to the NYC 20's finals; Those kids if they don't have to many changes next year will bounce back. Congtaz for finishing so high on the ladder, even the bulldogs got knocked out, so in the finals its anyone's game. The 20's did way better then our topside and we know they were a disaster this season. Those kids showed the fans , results and IMO happy with how they went.

Ackland has his critics , but seriously he still the best coach for the 20's, you can't every premiership every year. Suggesting Ricky henry get a shot, nah IMO he's a long way off, Vulcans were poor on the field and they had a squad of 40 all up this season. On merit alone, has he coached champion sides in the local comp in internationals and seniors? Age group rep footy is also different again. IMO he would benefit greatly from working closely with the new Head coach when they arrive.

Omar has been flat most of this season IMO, I'm guessing his new contract that he was negotiating took his mind off things, big money for a young kid.

Eko had mixed performances this year in the 20's , but credit to Ackland letting him and other warrior development players turn out for our topside this year. Eko is a good kid and he wanted to win a local comp GF for his club, which we did. He could be off to australia though next year???

Lack of structure has been pointed out above. What I can't fathom is a total lack of a game plan - they looked totally at a loss on the 5th tackle.

Takeiaho taking the kicks? Stupid. Nobody was talking, they really miss Henry.
Yes, they missed Carlos, but I don't think he would have changed the game.

My real concern is that these kids are the club's future and I don't believe they are getting the best grounding for first grade.

Have to say it dude. Some of the things that youve said in this post (highlighted in bold) are just plain silly!

Omar was being courted by numerous NRL clubs including the Warriors for his signature which says to me that he wasnt 'rubbish' at all. A fairer assessment would have been to say that he had a great career at Fullback with the U20's and was instrumental in them winning 2 Premierships but last night wasnt his best game.

John Ackland has, since taking over from Tony Iro, transformed this team into the form team of the competition. Other teams will always come and go but the Warriors have managed to be highly competitive for 3 straight seasons. He took over in 2010 and they won it that year and last year. Came 2nd this season with a largely new team. Your comment about him being a 'fraud' is not only incorrect but grossly disrespectful and not based on any logical reasoning.

Tony Iro has been the U20 coach and never did as well as Ackland. Steve Kearney has done a full apprenticeship with Craig Bellamy, coached the Eels (though not very well!) and is the current Kiwis coach. Do you seriously think he would accept a coaching position for the U20's? And Tim Sheens, winner of 4 Premierships, current coach of the Tigers and mentor of League stars Benji Marshall and Robbie Farrar to accept a demotion to NYC... speechless!

I understand you may have been a little sore after the loss and possibly drunk but theres no place here for the type of mindless post that you just produced. Try put some thought into your posts and if your using lol in them then its probably not a wothwhile one anyway... lol!
