Agree with tajhay he's a 24hr a day CEO and we're lucky to have him.
yeah i didnt mean thats MY perception. im saying that people always blame the middle management as being a 9-5 job which it isnt. that what i meant by "they". he clearly is an example of that.

Has Ivan Cleary burnt his bridges regarding a possible return? Hopefully he hasnt..the best option out there

I'm not privy to any information, however quoting Cleary from 2014 it doesn't paint a good picture.

"There's been two coaches sacked [Brian McClennan and Elliott] in the last two years, a bunch of people leaving the the club ... I wouldn't be worrying too much about what we see on the field. I think Blind Freddy could see it's [the] management," he said.

It will be interesting to see whose idea this was.

Doyle was impressive today explaining the coaching changes, the changes in the organization. The key quote I liked when he was asked about the changes "We are serious about getting success". This guy will do as much as he can to turn this club around, if he can't with everything he is doing it really is a mess.

It's amazing how we have always struggled to recruit. Either top class Aussies or Kiwis. All of a sudden our best players or NZ coaches get a call from a guy with a Scottish accent and they get homesick.:D

Wow. Well, he can't get any more invested now... literally.

I've been amazed at what Doyle's achieved so far with the club. I'm genuinely optimistic we're heading in the right direction, especially with the recent changes.

I'd be more interested in where Buzz ranks on the list of Journos....

Not surprised to see Doyle at the top and Pascoe at the bottom but I thought he might have had Bernie Gurr in the top two, he has all the prerequisite skills and is very much a lateral thinker about the game.

How does Paul White make second place, he merely has to take the padlock off the gate on a Friday night to fill Suncorp Stadium.

Elijah Taylor rumours heating up again.

Doyle to retire at the end of the season. Replaced by Cameron George an Aussie admin currently working for the club.
