We have four NRL capable halves for next year. Two of them are still learning the trade. If we had only two we would be in deep trouble.
who are the two that know the trade?

Shaun Johnson and Tui.
Tui played at test level and Shaun Johnson doesn't know his trade? Ask any other club if they want to risk him while he learns it.personally, I'm of the opinion Tui doesn't know the trade yet. He has too many holes in his game. Hope he proves me wrong though.
Shaun Johnson is far from complete too IMO.
If you ask me, we're going into 2017 with at least two of our spine with glaring holes in their game for their positions. And that's a risk.

I think any club with Shaun Johnson, Tui, Lino and Ata on the books would be reasonably pleased.Hiku played in the halves too... hardly a glowing endorsement for Tui there.
Shaun Johnson knows his trade, he's just far from complete. (but this is the wrong thread for this dicussion so I'll stop). I was meaning Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and Tui btw, not Shaun Johnson and Tui.
Interesting and makes sense. Last night on NRL 360 Geoff Toovey was high in his praise of the Warriors and Mark Gasnier said if they keep defending like this we might go a long way this season. Toovey is not one to use 10 words if a grunt will do so I was impressed by his attitude.
Well sort of.Dont agree with this line. At the end of the day your reign will be remembered for either winning a Premiership or not. The rest is just filler...
Well sort of.
The Sharks haven't got one in over forty years of trying yet the Shire like the Warriors enjoys a loyal fan base and some epic memories in their history.
There is a one in sixteen chance of winning in a capped system in a defencive comp while Warriors produce offernsive players. while Warriors are fifteenth or sixteenth preferred team to coach or play for in the case of players.
The key meddling with your calculation is assuming the competition remains the same.Actually dude it's a 1 in 256 chance (16 square) meaning cool, if comp remains same for next couple of hundred years this club should of won a premiership by year 2251. By that time we will be playing our first grand final on Mars ! We do, I just hope that three titty woman from movie Total Recall is there ! Ah man what am I saying ? I am such a nerd ...

More than Parra, Cronulla, the Knights and the Titans? and why?We are a laughing stock among ex pat Kiwi players....
Wrong there. Frank Pritchard approached the Warriors himself to sign up. The Warriors mulled over it for too long and Frank secured his future by signing to ESL. By the time the Warriors got the right offer together he was already signed and was going to keep his word. Frank came to us before we went to him.Even shit players or old dogs like Frank Pritchard would rather go to the ESL than accept a Warriors offer.
Didn't realise that was the series of events with Pritchard. A bit of a lesson for our recruitment guys there as a lot of the time you need to make a decision quickly and move on it. Recruitment is an ever changing market place; especially at that time of the year and with a player who needs a decision made to tie up his future. Understandably the club needs to asses it's cap situation and other offers on the table but you need to be able to move depending on how the market goes.Wrong there. So your whole argument dies right there Im afraid. Especially seeing as RTS and Luke came on board just last year.
As for the winning of a Premiership it is still the only yardstick that a club can truly gauge success. No one cares about also rans. Winning a Premiership is what every single team aim for every year and what every fan dreams of. To say otherwise is only bullshit...
Geez you are tough, a good job?Overall Doyle is doing a good job with the club.
That was more tongue in cheek. Everyone needs to improve even if it is just a little bit.Geez you are tough, a good job?. He has secured us our home stadium for the medium future, we are probably going to make the top 8 after a terrible start, ok I know I know, he isn't the coach, nothing to do with him. Our club has more respect from Aussie commentators since I can't remember. The guy walks on water, what's that only Hey Xeus can walk on water. wrong, JD walks on water too.
You can tell himThat was more tongue in cheek. Everyone needs to improve even if it is just a little bit.
Still answerable to the top dog. Thats where your question should be directed...Does JD have what it takes to make us a real top-4/championship contender?
Or will he fold like a wet sack of shit, like all who've come before him?
I'm pretty sure he knows the winning ways. But has he got the balls to demand the club follows them?
This is the pivotal moment IMO.
