I think he is being targeted a bit. He does what the Warriors need most, work off the ball. He is always aware and appears to have good vision. I thought his 2nd half on Monday was excellent. He is not a worldbeater, but we knew that.

TL has the defence, but I don't know whether he has that same vision and work rate. I would actually prefer TL but I appreciate Robson.

Correct, at the game anyone can see his relentless work. Not a superstar but definitely a hard grafter.

In Robson's defence he has sent the ball in the right direction for most of our plays.

Unlike the stuff you would see with Nathan Friend and cross eyed Tommy ignoring Johnson and a set back line for one of their clever plays.

The one thing Robson does right is get the ball to the right people at the right time.

The Warriors first Try was brilliant from Robson, he hit the line and committed the defence then quickly shifted to Roger Tuivasa-Sheck on the left.

Robson created that try.

The second attempted try (Manu dots it down, the bunker finds a knock on.....sees Robson in support of the ball carrier on the inside (unused).

The Warriors next Try sees Robson take it to the line and feed Kata in a classic out the back door play.....Kata gets tackled in the left corner.....Robson plays link man in a passing movement amd feeds Vete. who draws more defenders to the middle of the park....an offload from Vete sees the Warriors send the ball to the right hand edge....Lolohea scores a no try...ruled an obstruction .

A Minor role from Robson in that one, but he is using runners that hit the advantage line in a structured way to make space on the edges (organizing).

The next two tries have no involvement from Robson.

The Warriors next Try...is off an out the back play that Robson calls for (you can see him scream out for that back line to set for that play)....it works....Aysford and Lolohea confront the Newy left edge with a two on one....that Try was as much Shaun Johnson as Robson (starting to click)....and the final touch from Ayshford is real quality (He is a great signing).

The Warriors next Try is a simple run around with Robson and Hoffman....Robson shifts left and Manu scores off a Kata pass in the corner.

A concern I had with this side was that we would continue to see Manu's wing ignored....that try gives me more hope than anything the Warriors have constructed this season.

The next Try is Johnson making mokery of our dislike of his lateral play....the one where he drifts across the field till he scores ala Jason Robinson.

Had to laugh at the 70th minute when Robson made a line break in the middle of the field.....looks left then right and gets tackled....that was a certain try gone begging for a back that could be bothered.

For all the Robson critiques....(justifiable) he is not useless at every thing.

His vision is excellent and his passing is fine.

Poor decisions, poor passes, no kicking game, slow with limited running game, he does have a better defensive game, but only on making his own head on tackles, he doesn't organise the line that well, proven by the fact he's been here longer and the team has pretty much sucked defensively the whole time. Robson has even done some pretty good one on one defence even if some chose to ignore that fact. For me putting TL back into the team the first day he puts his boots back on is a mistake.

Yes, Surfin both in a very similar mode Solid dependable and do come up with mistakes as they are right in the centre.

However they both have huge hearts and give their all for the team and, while not being superstars I would always prefer to have them on my team than against me.

JEFF Robson is weighing up leaving the club at the end of the season to reunite with his family in Sydney. Robson made the brave decision to leave behind his autistic daughter Charlotte and wife Gabi to sign a one-year deal with the Warriors. But his manager Gavin Orr has confirmed the playmaker is considering returning and also hasn’t ruled out hanging up the boots.
“Jeff is going to just play it by ear and he’ll have a look at what’s going on,” Orr said. “I think halfway through this year he’ll let me know what he wants to do, so if he wants to continue playing or retire.”

Robson didn’t take the field for the Warriors this week, being dropped to NSW Cup with Tuimoala Lolohea playing in the halves.

He didnt play NSW Cup today. Barring injuries we wont see him in 1st Grade again...

Never rated the guy. Slow plodder, average kicking game... good tackler, I'll give him that, but he's just an old hand dud as far as I'm concerned. His signing doesn't mean Leuluai is leaving at all, the club has a hard on for him, you only have to listen to the likes of Doyle and McFadden on how they rate him as a leader. The #6 guernsey is his for sure. Robson will start in reserve grade but gives coverage if Johnson isn't right to go round 1.

Does he go down in our top 5 worst ever signings? After last night, it almost seemed we had dumbed down our structure to accommodate for him, to slow it up. Our game has to be up tempo with a few set plays, but mainly giving Shaun Johnson, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, and Lolohea time and space to play what they see in front of them.

In terms of NSW Cup, nor should he play. Surely the only reason he was bought was to give experience to the younger blokes. He can do that on the sidelines frankly. Because playing him means taking time away from Mason Lino or Ata Hingano and the only way for them to get better is to play NSW Cup, 80 minutes week in week out.

I could be wrong but, with Johnsons broken leg, TL's knee we were not in a strong position in the halves and he was bought for insurance.
Not on a huge deal money wise and we did win two games with him and a true professional. Not in the same class as Shaun Johnson to LoLo but don't think he deserves the shit he is being dished out on here.
Unlike many players on huge salary who never turn up to play he did, made a few mistakes but also never shirked when it came to the hard stuff.

Very strange. Not a peep from the club. I couldnt care less as he doesnt belong in our 1st Grade team but just curious as to where he's gone...

I like Jeff, he turned down other offers to help our team and although he made a few fuck ups he meant well and got a couple of wins for us.

If anyone can say, hand on heart, that he was the only one responsible for the losses then I will quietly retreat into my corner.

Have no issues with that all, ofcourse he would see whats the best for his family. But he didnt come here to do us a favour, thats stretching it a bit.

Robson was only ever going to be a fill in until Leuluai was ready to come back and that's how it's eventuated

I give him heaps of respect for leaving his comfort zone and leaving his sick child at home to help try and bring some guidance to this team.

He got burned on the edges a few times in those first 6 games and never really set Shaun alight as was predicted but it's the expectations fans throw at some of these players that boggles the mind.

Saw Robson at training on TV3 when they did the Shauny J interview. I sincerely think Cappy thought that Robson was gonna lead the Warriors around the park and turn Shauny J loose. An experiment that didn't work.
