The players have just been voted on. Now for the management/coaching/owners of our club to have their turn.

If you had the power to replace anyone in the club, even one or both of the owners, who would you keep?

If I've missed any names please let me know and I'll put them into the poll.

Vote away...

Watson, Doyle, Cappy, Stacey.

That should be enough to lead the club so long as they surround themselves with the right people after that..

Surprised I was the only one so far to vote for Webster... but 100% on the others to date...

Watson & Doyle definitely
Jones most likely
On the fence with Cappy

This poll is a bit more out there...

Only voted for doyle and the little general, NFI if any of the rest are good, bad or indifferent at their jobs.

EW is fine, but at this point in time neither a positive or a negative to what happens on the field. which is all i care about.

Jim Doyle with a 100% approval rating ATM...

What ever you want to do Jimmy, is just fine by me...

More interestingly... Tony Iro...

26 votes and not a single one of us is interested in keeping him.

Owen Glen was the guy who threw money at the club and bugger all voted for him?
Watson never spent much but Owen came in and we got a new Gym, he did his best to get Ballamy and a host of other things until he got shat on by Watson and Scurrah.

IMO OG brought in a charitable attitude towards our playing squad. That's the problem I have with him anyway...

If you look at the number of charitable organizations he funds, there's hundreds.. So him seeing the Warriors as another of his charitable organizations isn't totally unexpected...

The problem is none of these guys need any charity. They are the elite, the guys who can look after themselves... Giving the playing squad even the smallest kind of charity at all just destroys any competitive edge we might be able to build up IMO...

Sure we should be compassionate towards players when they are suffering in their lives,,,,,, but most of them aren't suffering at all, they're creaming it (or hoping to), riding the OG gravy train...

He was even so charitable as to buy gifts for all the player's wives and partners

Owned by fans trust/members, Stacey Jones & Champion to coach

Jim Doyle. Everybody I know in league tells me he's cu** and cu** is exactly what we need right now running this club...;)

Did I read this right, who to keep ??? 20 warriors supporters, who take the time to join a forum and comment, who I would therefore consider staunch Warriors supporters have voted to keep Cappy. Blown away bye this. Ready to cop it from the 20 Cappy supporters. Let's hope you defend Cappy better than he coached it. Cappy has to go.....only Stacey Jones and Jim Doyle to stay for me.

so who would the coach be for next season? Stacey isn't ready and you'd have to go to the market to find a new one. Iro? Well based on the voting above - I can't see him as being an option.

Bearing in mind pre-season for these guys starts in 4-6 weeks... the recruitment process for a new coach could take months... The list of coaches available for a first grade gig is not exactly massive... Kearney maybe - but we saw how he went with the Eels (yes, granted they have worse off-field issues than us), Elliot? Nope. Toovey? Well he just got shafted by his club that he has been loyal to for 20 years, and there must be a reason behind that.

What experienced decent coach is going to want to come to the shambles that is the warriors at the moment? And if we went with an inexperienced one right now - we'd be in the same boat.

McFadden has the support of the players - which is more than can be said for our two most recent permanent coaching appointments. I'm a pretty harsh critic when it comes to coaches, I think he has made some mistakes, but he's admitted that. Give him another season. 2015 was cruelled by injury.

Tomkins - 13 games, Shaun Johnson - 18 games, Laumape - 0 games, Fish - 1 game, Henry - 4 games, Leuluai - 10 games,

All of those guys would easily be in our top 17 this season if they were fit. We didn't have the ability to run the same combinations out week in week out. Yes, some of our players weren't up to it for the week in week out grind... BUT - McFadden did the best he could with the players he had.

He wasn't the one on the field missing the tackles...

Now don't get me wrong... if Hasler, Bennett or Bellamy ring up today and say to Doyle - I want to coach the warriors next season... I'll happily say bye bye McFadden... Chances of it happening? Nil.

I am sure he'll be on notice for next season. I just hope he's not given a stupid target like round 6. Because that kind of target really fucks up a season. Round 12 or 15 or 18 is more realistic.

If I had the power I'd get rid of the Warriors and give their license to that Wellington mob. That's how I feel about the organisation after this season.

I would be all for Cappy staying if we could see a side that was being coached with visible signs of improvement. The teams fitness levels are not up to standard, we make far more errors than is acceptable, we miss far more tackles than is acceptable, our game plan is puzzling often, last tackle options are just as puzzling sometimes, player selection likewise, the culture at the club is not cohesive.I clearly feel this is the domain of the coach. This side in my humble opinion is not going forward, and this will continue under current regime, we all agree change is needed, so where do you suggest this change comes from.....Stacey Jones would be good enough for me, looking at the NSW cup side they looked COACHED, learn from mistakes and seem to be getting better in the areas that a coach has influence.
