Probably a bit harsh, I respect a person who optimistically sticks by the team, but found that last one a tad antagonistic - you can't be a real fan if you complain kind of thing. Becoming a bit of a broken record. Like you I get the impression that he is probably a good guy.

I'm a fan of my wife, but I still tell her if her breath stinks

Oh and I believe we will win Rd 4 with a chance of victory this weekend. This comp is too close to have no wins after 4-5 rounds surely. I have us outside the 8 now though

If I sound a tad antagonistic I apologize, but I am a believer of being positive. Sometimes this forum can be way too negative. But that's what it is all about, being positive and negative. Everyone has to have a vent I know. I like leaning towards the Positive side. That's just who I am.

When was the last time Matty Johns was right? The marketing for his radio show seems to be based on creating rumours and hoping that they become true.

I doubt any NRL team would sack a coach after 2 games into the season.

Not sure if it is the last time, but at the start of 2012 when he said we were going to be competing for the wooden spoon, and we all thought he was an idiot.

True. We also started the season with 8 losses in our first 10 games (1 win was by 2 pts, 1 win by 1pt). That was consistent.

I think we'd all take some wins by even half a point at the moment.

sorry to be arsey, but at what stage does reality set in for you and the realisation that theres a toxic problem at the Warriors? with Clearly and John Hart I truly believed we were on the road to redemption.

Now we are back to square one.

Isn't this how Ed started out last year. He said it was our fault they were losing because we were sending negative energy to the team, and we needed to cheer for them no matter how bad they were.

I'm not saying it's anyone's fault that the Warriors are losing, all I'm saying I want to think positively that they can come through this. If people think otherwise that's their business, it's my prerogative if I want to be positive. Each to their own.

Edd was really extreme from the beginning though, explaining away literally every issue with manic pseudo-psychological ramblings, throwing outlandish statements then reacting to any challenge with the dreaded "ha-ha-ha". David is like a mild-mannered, less psychotic version of edd. Possibly the Dr Jekyll to edd's Mr Hyde?

But you keep calling people out for being negative. It's not being negative.....its being realistic. Most of us realise the dire position our club is unfortunately in at the moment.

Long time fans are merely offering their opinions as to what can be done to start seeing an improvement and I honestly believe that most of the posts that are made here are not out of line.

We've celebrated our first WIN already.

Unfortunately it was only a SCRUM win. But better than nothing !

its a frustrating start considering the hunger we seemingly showed in the broncos trial but have seen nothing near that in the 1st 2 rounds.
the positives are almost every try we have conceded has been soft and or from our own errors.
our start to the season was always going to be hard as we played eels dragons( 2 of our bogey teams) then cowboys in townsville.
plus we dont play at mt smart till like round 8 tho which shouldnt be an issue, but its the warriors and 3 wins from 19 games in nz
away from the mount ses it all.
bring in hurrell and get our heads in the game and we should come good our ball movement looks far better this year already its just gotta click like in the trial.
no worries i reckon.
