I've seen video's online with people doing indoor cycling with Zwift and have been thinking that might be a go at the next house or get rid of the garage gym now I'm older.
We have a Peloton bike.it was great during the lockdown but hasn't been touched for a few months yet. If you have motivation to train at home it's great, but like most training sometimes you get more use of things when you have to go elsewhere/outside to do it.

Yeah we got it for Xmas one year in the early 90s, was super fun.

Then when I was at High School one of my mates was getting into Warhammer and all that stuff with the miniatures and asked if he could paint up some of our figures, which I was OK with and ended up lending the game.

And then kinda sorta forgot about it ahhhhhhh! I assume he or his family no longer have it, but I do miss that crazy game.

At least I've still held onto the Nightmare and Cricket (based on 92 world cup) VHS based games from that same era!
Goddamn I haven't played Nightmare in a long time. Would love to. I remember the creepy dude challenging the player to keep their eyes open for a couple of minutes and my friends eyes watering while he physically held his eyes open. Hilarious.

We have our original set from back in the day and I bought a second one off Trademe about 10 years ago for $100. You're right, nowadays they go for a few hundy easy. Same thing has happened with Space Crusade, another board game from the same time. The one I have on display is the new remake of the game that came out late last year.
My mate had that one dungeon crawlers were awesome. I got into a boardgames phase a couple years ago brought some euro style engine building games trouble is I have no one to play them with

Anyone collect footy cards?
I bought the whole set for my son last year- heaps cheaper doing it that way.
When I was home recently my mum pulled an old box out that had all my old cards- my pop worked at the bubble game factory so we used to get the whole sets- had the 1991 set- also had cricket, soccer, wrestling.
Also those old all black coins u used to get from shell (?).
It was awesome to see them all again 😂

I've got the full lot of the ARL cards from both sets released in 1995 and I think I might have another set from the late 2000's. Really loved the Man of Steels cards and random other cards like Speedsters and how each club had their mascot caricature. I somehow convinced my (poor) mum to get me about 20 packs for my 11th or 12th birthday and opened them with my friend, much to his mums disgust.

Anyone collect footy cards?

I had about 12,000 autographed NRL cards at one point. I probably still have a few thousand stored away. I stopped getting players from the other 15 teams in 2014, and COVID absolutely butchered my Warriors collection. So many players came and went in the time that they weren't at home. It is hard to motivate myself to keep going now the collection is not complete.

My main hobby now is customised cut autograph trading cards of international cricketers. I have some autographs that go back to the first ever test match.

I have a couple of Sonny Fai autographs that I'm eager to make into something cool over the holidays. If anyone has Warrior's autographs on plain paper PM me!

If you go down to your local games shop they should help. Or try a Facebook page. Failing that the Buy Sell and Trade Boardgames in NZ Facebook page has 6500 members. There's someone from your area in there.

I got into boardgames over 15 years ago. It's been great and was part of a huge life change I went through at that time.
I play euros. Mostly on Mondays, but also some weekends in the Warriors off-season.

There was store in Rotorua that sold those in the 90s. Also other cards.

Think the guy was hoping they'd create a market like in the State's and be seen as an investment. I had a mate who thought that and had them in big binders.

I still have mine. They fit in an ice cream container. More likely to be used as a book mark like do with my son's Pokemon cards.

I was into collecting phone cards in the 90’s.

Great investment… until they weren’t anymore as we changed technology and they became a relic!

Then most of my collection got stolen - luckily after they were basically worthless anyway 🤣

hmm hobbies i have, Woodwork, writing, renovating, oil and pastel painting, 3d printing. quickly followed by being lazy and reading.
I write childrens stories. Have written 2 full books, 1 90 percenter and one im a third through. All need massive re-edits to bring to completion though.
Currently building a side table for a woodworking show next year. Was meant to go in this years show, but Reno got in the way.
Currently renovating the kitchen, and lounge, pulling up floor tiles (that part sucks), just finished the kids room.
havent done much painting or sketching for a while now. want to get back in but need to finish work in my shed first.
Starting to wonder about getting into kite boarding or something, as wind surfing seems to have died as a sport, not that ive done this for years. Maybe skiff sailing would be better..?
both my 3D printers are out of commision atm. just need a few tweaks. but mostly use them to print cosplay bits or minis. I really enjoy painting the minis as well, but ive never played the games.

Used to collect basketball cards years ago. Some were worth some big money, I got one in a pack once that was worth $10,000. Was a lottery card, so past a certain date about a year later it was worthless. Some of the gold signatures of some players could be worth $500+ at times.
