Ok so I've been able to access the site via my mobile phone for quite a while with both the old push button phone and a non-Android smartphone, although I've never signed in or posted using my mobile, I was always able to read the threads and posts and generally follow the site for news etc.. with no problems at all, I've usually installed the Opera Mini browser as a preference and it's always worked a treat on whatever site I visit.

I now have one of these Android things which I'm still trying to get my head around, I've installed the latest version of Opera Mini for Android but it just doesn't seem to be the same as before, it seems to load up entire sites as you would see it on a PC, which is impossible to read on a mobile, I can tap the screen and zoom in which means I then have to swipe up/down/across and try to navigate my way around a magnified version of my PC, the older versions of Opera had a 'Mobile View' option in the settings but I can't find anything in this version to make sites readable on a mobile device.

I know I'm pretty old school and struggling to keep up with the latest tech stuff, but any help/suggestions/advice would be appreciated, if I can't read my phone at work I'm doomed to actually do some work!

Hi. Download an app called tapatalk then search within that app for nzwarriorsfans and sign in from there.

hi mate, looks like opera have split up the two apps...one as a browser to show what sites will look like on a desktop, and the other a mobile version.

install this and let me know how you go:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.opera.browser&hl=en

and as dummyrun suggested, download tapatalk which allows you to easily view the site in mobile form. download tapatalk here

what android phone you got...i got s3 and have no issues with the standard browser, and also use taptalk.

Thanks mate, yeah I just got a Sony Xperia Go on an upgraded plan from Optus, the last phone they gave me was a Nokia N8 which I thought was a great phone until it somehow managed to hit the floor around round 21 last year and that was the end of that! but apparently this phone can handle a bit more punishment so I'm all set for 2013!

As far as browsers go, I've never bothered with the standard browser, it used to take me to the network's homepage which was full of the usual garbage, then take a month and a half to load up a web page, I've been using opera mini for a few years now and it's been great, goes straight to speed dial bookmarks, fast and simple, I've been playing around with the settings again and found a 'column view' option which seems to load pages in a more readable format for me, so I'll stick with that for now. That tapatalk looks like a very handy app for forum users, might have another look at that later on. Thanks for the help guys!
