Internationals Great Britain 2019 Tour

Not sure if you’re taking this piss but it’s been clear as day he’s only suited to playing in the middle for five years now- Kearney is the only one to not get the memo.
Its how I saw it. Especially his defence. Played like was was both lucky and thankful to be in the team, which he was. He was not in the original squad.
Maybe he should only play off the bench for the Warriors.

I don't understand all the love for Maguire. The Kiwis haven't looked that great in his tenure. Yes they defended well the last couple of weeks but it's not like they have been overly tested considering the opposition was only fielding 1 centre and 1 winger.

Yes he is a premiership winner but his time there went downhill pretty quickly. Then he got to the Tigers and inherited a poor roster, but Brooks seemed to go backwards and his best player couldn't get out of there fast enough.

I think it's the whole love affair with Benji that is annoying me too

I’d agree the jury is still out.
They’re playing with grit though which is a good sign.

I don't know about love, but their performance is light years ahead of what we got from Kidwell.

That was not a bad GB team, especially their coaching. Gareth Widdup is right up there as far as halves go and that forward pack was seriously tough. I pay the Tongans a compliment there.

The Kiwis won both tests on defence and up front. I am sure they would have given the Kangaroos a run for it as well.

IMO most if not all of that has to come back to tactics and discipline, so therefore Madge. Where discipline is strong so is belief in the game plan.

Madge got shafted at Souths by player power with a certain agent who told the board Madge had to go or else. He is a strict disciplinarian who managed to keep Bully in line and no coach flukes a GF.

I would have him at this club in a heartbeat. That is not saying he is the best going, but he is an accomplished coach with pedigree, and ladies and jellybeans may I remind you all that...we don't have one at present.

Aust are also bigger draw cards than GB
Australia?? Who did they beat? I get your point brother but the crowd for the Kangaroo test last years were diehards. They would go for the Poms as well, and Boy George better hope they turn up for the Warriors as well.

GB were poor on Saturday and a lot of the blame must go to Bennett for his selections. He is too distant from ESL to spot up and coming talent. Also, Kevin Sinfield is RFL Chief, nice bloke great player and highly articulate. Unfortunately he’s been rubbish at his job at Leeds and doesn’t seem to be able to judge players from the stand

Just a thought everyone has anyone thought about sending a Anzac type team to play Scotland, Ireland, Wales and England? Or maybe just the super league teams and Great Britain? just the team possibilities!
