Where's the tip he is to sign up?
Don't get me wrong I agree with all the previous comments but he has said today is concentrating on finals and has a young fam and preference is to stay Sydney.

Also I still want Blake fit in somewhere, solid D and one of the better players in a shitter of a squad

Can you imagine the fear that opposition centres will potentially have marking up against the twin threats of Beale and Ayshford? Entirely new defensive structures will need to be formulated to deal with this unprecedented attacking genius.
Year cause none of them have figured out Kata's ultra covert dummy half move yet...;)

Any upgrade is a good thing me thinks...

All we really need is a couple of centers who can play off SJ and Sheck, who can get the ball to their wingers, who can read the defense and therefore keep us in games.... Surely that's not too much to ask?

Two professional centres will make a hell of a difference to this team. They they can leave Fusitua out on the wing to be dynamic. Kata might not go bad on the wing with a steady centre inside of him either. Beale if nothing else is a professional centre.

In an ideal world I'd have GI and Blake Ferguson as our centers..

Sadly we live in the real world and can't spend double the cap of other teams.

Yeah I don't entirely disagree, however I've also heard that theory rolled out when it came to us signing plodders in the past... and it didn't work. Beale is an out and out plodder, well below average for an NRL centre.
I know I'm butting in here, but when you've got SJ and Sheck in your team, all you really need is plodders who can tackle and you're a threat for the title.

Beale fits into our price range and is a stable option for our defense in the centers. He also has obvious distribution skills and can put in a grubber kick. If we need to play a grinding style for half a game he won't let us down then either.

That's all we can afford and that's all we need.

Welcome to the Club Gerard.. Hopefully you don't get too much hate before you've even finished your season with the Sharks...

I think Beale will bring a tremendous amount of balance to our back line. We've got guys who are too young and too attack focused, so bringing in an older, higher quality defender, who can distribute to his winger, is a great pick up for us.

Ayshford (29)/Fusitua(22) works pretty well on the right, and Beale(27)/Maumalo(23) will work pretty well on the left also.

A couple of Aussie trained centers is a must for us at this stage AFAIC. Let our Kiwi talent play ball on the wings.

Once we sort out our edges the rest of the team will grow in confidence big time...
