Mt Wellington why is smith getting a thread when he is not in the top 30?
Do you know something we don’t ?
He is not in the nrl.com contracted player list for 2022. Realise he might be on train and trial but he hasn’t been signed on yet officially or has he and I missed it ?

At the very least he'll be playing reserve grade on a development contract. Was part of the Storm trial and even scored under the posts.

Had a look at the Knights site, their view he was a good player but didn't have the motor to play enough minutes to be effective.

We have a lot of props contracted and he’ll be up against some of our more sought after juniors for that last spot.

The verdict from Knights fans is that he more often than not gets across the gain line and bends the line (did that consistently in reserve grade last year), but gets winded very easily.
