Did Godinet play NYC ? I thought he was ineligible as he was too old when the NYC competition started. If memory serves me didn't he win player of the year for the Vulcans in 2008 the sane year the NYC started?
So we're back to missing a player lol. Im out of ideas...

Yup. I can't think of anyone either. Must be someone who played NYC for us but didn't debut with us.Unless I was wrong about Niko and he got a token game during Origin period or something like that then I'm not sure who it could be.

Or....maybe....did Kurt Kara play for the Roosters during Origin period? He was with their lower grades for a bit. Around the same time as Adam Henry?

Neale played one game for Rabbitohs according to Wikipedia.

Actually, now that you mention it Nathaniel Peteru belongs on that list too so thats at least 54.

Thats was a great link @The Cool...

So maybe Ah Van doesn't officially count because he played first grade before NYC? That would give us our 53.

I think the way the tweet is worded makes your theory correct. Players that went on from NYC to NRL. So, 53 it is.

I don't believe Malo Solomona played NYC. He was playing first grade prior to the comps implementation IIRC.

I know he was in the system since 2006 but according to Wikipedia he debuted in Round 16 2008. Also says he was playing Reserve Grade and Toyota cup but the NYC database link from a few posts back doesnt have him named as playing...

I think Fai, Fisiiahi, Hurrell would be near certainties to add to that team. Vete and Lisone were also huge in that comp. As was Suiatonga Likiliki.
