Cold afternoon so watched a bit of ESL highlights, an someone explain the play of the ball, obviously they don' t have to put their foot on it, its like watching touch players......

Incredibe stuff from Salford, what a game. Inu is a legend, Tui gets bounced around the world and ends up in a GF, bet they both wish they were back in Auckland with their feet up and a bucket of chicken and a bag of Wendy's and a diet coke, those were the days.

My mate who I go to games with is a ,lifetime Salford fan. We’d agreed to go to the final weeks ago until he realised he was away this coming weekend. At that stage there were still five teams in the comp and we never thought Salford would get there, my money was on another Saints v Wire final

Good on Salford. A few years ago they were a cellar dwellar team but last year they improved and finished in the top half of the competition and this year they made the GF. Josh Jones the second rower is a player to watch. I want to see him give the NRL a go.

Do you reckon Mossop and that old Dudson bloke would be upgrades for the Warriors? Couldn't be any worse than Andy Platt.

Mossop is decent and went to Parra iirc but couldn’t hack it.

Massive and lively crowd. Beautiful pitch. One referee. Some future rock stars for the Warriors to keep an eye on...Krisnan Inu and Tui Lolohea...this is reserve grade ladies and jellybeans....almost over 22 - 6 St Helens

For Salford to have a chance they needed a break. Saints were the better team but Salford got nothing from the referee, the tackle on Inu and the dragging down of the Salford prop at the play the ball being the pick of some bad decisions.

Great occasion and a decent game though

Did this game start earlier than it was advertised as on Sky? I set it to record at 5am and got the entire program on my planner with no "Partial Recorded". The program then was listed as 37 minutes.

Watching it was pretty much a dark stadium before Saints went up on the podium to get the trophy.

Nice way to start the day.

It gets dark here before 6pm atm, winter is coming. Sun goes down about 3:45pm around Xmas when the days are at their shortest

Best of luck to him and his family, at such a young age. What a terrific player on his day. Certainly one that demonstrated belief, effort and courage was just as valuable as size. He'll be drawing on the same attributes in the years ahead. As much as we are able, we're with you Rob.
