All of a sudden Leeds look a good team again
Konrad looks like a world beater against probably the best team in SL. don't know ( well actually I do ) if this is to do with an improvement in KH or poor ESL defence. Also some quality from Lolohea

That Tom Johnstone from Wakefield looked pretty bloody hand as a winger

Bennett should have picked him v youse lot last year. He’s done a pretty good job Bennett but that’s the weakness of him, he doesn’t see the up and coming players being based in OZ.

Konnie looks like a beast with ball in hand but needs to eliminate those little errors. Rather than going for the fast play the ball on every attempt I’d rather see him just play the ball to his dummy half!
Lolohea - two good passes to assist in scoring tries however two costly errors did result in Wakey scoring tries. Again just needs to cut out those stupid mistakes.
Billy Topuo - a blast from the past but one of the better players on the pitch, now a solid centre rather than a speedy winger. A real surprise, perhaps a better option than Beale ?

Been watching Leeds closely this year and Both Konnie and Tui have been guilty of the same stuff each game- trying too hard then making an error, then trying to make an impact to make up for it and making more errors. I think they will both be quite good up there if they can just calm it down and not overplay their hand, once the confidence comes they’ll be great

For about 20 mins up to half time against St Helen’s Leeds looked the real deal, they looked like they were going to blow St Helens away. Other than that they have been rudderless. Too many mistakes and panic sets it when they go behind.

Catalans v Warrington yesterday another entertaining game, long range penalty goal from Gump won the day.

• Super League Wigan Warriors say they are aiming to speak with Shaun Edwards as a matter of urgency following comments made by the 52-year-old over the weekend claiming he is yet to sign a contract with the Super League champions to become their head coach as planned next season.
Edwards remains under contract with Wales as their defence coach until the end of this year’s World Cup in Japan, but agreed last August to return to rugby league with Wigan in 2020 after his time with Wales came to an end.

However, in the aftermath of their grand slam-winning Six Nations campaign, Edwards said he will technically be unemployed after the World Cup as the Warriors had failed to draft a contract for him to sign to finalise his return to Wigan, with whom he enjoyed a glittering playing career.
“I agreed with Wigan and thought we would sign a contract,” he said. “But then Wigan said: ‘It’s OK, we’ll sign one later,’ and I thought that was unusual. That was nine months ago. I’ll consider all offers, league, union. All I can say is that I haven’t signed anything with anybody.”
Wigan initially declined to comment on Sunday when approached by the Guardian but on Monday, they issued a brief statement. “Wigan Warriors are aware of quotes from Shaun Edwards regarding his future arrangements. Following the conclusion of the Six Nations and Shaun’s comments, we have been seeking dialogue with Shaun directly since Sunday to clarify to Wigan his intentions.”

It is not the first time Edwards, or Wigan, have cast doubt over his return to league. Last month, Edwards said it was a case of “when and if” he joins Wigan during an interview with BBC Radio Four, while in January the Wigan chairman, Ian Lenagan, admitted Edwards’s return may not happen if his the current coach, Adrian Lam, is a success this year. However, Wigan have won one of their first six league games under Lam and are currently joint-bottom of the Super League table.

Maybe Shaun had a quick look at the telly and saw were Wigan were sitting on the table

and thought, oh yeah nah !!
Very strange seeing both Wigan and Leeds at the bottom end of the table. When Lam was interviewed on Sky the other day after yet another loss, he looked terrified. He must think his job is under threat already

Leeds have conceded 18 points in as many minutes at HKR. 18-0 down with an hour to go. Defence is non existent
