General English Premier League

exactly right, I am using the Sky Sport Now app out and have cancelled my Sky Sport Subscription. Why they are two separate entities is a bit beyond me.

I miss the Spark Sport app :(

There is so many little things wrong with the Sky Sport Now app that the experience for users is poor. Also find the streaming quality not as good as the Spark Sport one.

And now I cant even log in to the app as their server is unavailable????

Just give the Premier League back to Spark Sport please who have an app that works and is easy to use, please?

Its quite unbelievable how much the pressure is killing them.

It all seems inevitable Man City will beat them and catch Arsenal now.
Not sure bringing Jesus back was the right move. Trossard was a dangerous player for them while Jesus was out

Yea everyone saying it is still in their hands, just have to go to the Etihad and win

I'm thinking City ease to a 3-1 win and waltz on looking for the treble this year

Well, the argument against a salary cap has always been it buggers up promotion-relegation as everyone has the same money to spend and means a team who are looking for promotion or trying to avoid relegation can't spend further funds in trying to improve the team.

But I still think there needs to be a better system than FPP, which says you can spend a certain percentage of what you earn. So still the Big Six rule supreme, as they earn the most dosh.

As an Arsenal fan, I'm not sure whether to be pissed off that we're most likely going to finish 2nd given we've been top of the EPL for so long, or be really pleased to be back in the Champions League when I was fully expecting at best finishing 5th/6th this year and another season of Europa League (I never thought we'd win it this year).

Yup, we have overachieved my expectations but also disappointed as we had a comfortable lead at the top of the table and I'm not sure we will get a better chance to win it in the next couple of seasons.

I don’t think an NRL style cap would work, clubs that earn more should be able to spend more. However, atm is a system that is completely out of control where six figure salaries are the norm for very average players and £300k per week for the good ones. It enshrines a pecking order where the clubs in the Champions League places by and large stay there and the others have their ambition limited because overspending followed by relegation could mean going out of business.

In my younger days the hope of the supporter was to get a good manager in to turn your club around, look at what the likes of Bobby Robson and Brian Clough did with small town teams. Nowadays fans hope for a mega billionaire to buy the club. When the Saudi lot bought Newcastle, the daft bastards who follow them were dancing outside the ground with tea towels on their heads - totally oblivious to the brutal and backward nature of the Saudi ruling class

Not the EPL, but the two Manchester clubs play each other in the FACup final at Wembley on 6 June. The first time this has happened.

My United supporting workmates reckon City will batter them, but we’ll see

4 days before Champions League Final

City will surely win the League now

If they can get past Real Madrid in the semi they will be heavy heavy favourites to beat one of the Milans in the final

Man U will do all they can to avoid City replecating their 1999 treble

City play Arsenal tomorrow., If City win I’d say it was all over in the league

I’d have City favourites for the FA cup as well. About a third of my office are United fans, no City fans in here I am aware of. Within the greater Manchester area, North and West Manchester including Salford tends to be United, South and East City

Real Madrid have a habit of raising their game in the Champions League. That will be City’s toughest challenge

I'm an Arsenal fan but enjoy watching players and teams who play good, attacking football. Man City are great to watch but so stacked with quality players it kind of takes away from it a bit.

Can't see us beating City in our current form. No Saliba has really hurt since his injury. Still, get to play champions league next season.

It's been a good year to be a Spurs fan...

Unfortunately I didn't have a choice, I either had to be or I would have been sent off to an orphanage.
