My team is based around a skilful forward pack with an elite spine and fast, ball playing backs, finished with absolute speedsters on the wings.
Like any great team, our biggest strength is the spine. The little general, NZ, greatest ever half, controls the teams attacking options and his combination with Slater at the back will carve up the opposition. Both edges are skilful, powerful and more than solid in defence, tied together by Jim Dymock (3 times Dally M lock) dominating the centre. The game plan would be similar to the Storm with pace and ball playing speed blowing oppositions away with the spine creating space and the backs carving up.
T-Rex is a point of difference, bought on in the second row to target a tiring defence. Imagine Elias scooting out of the play the ball and committing defenders, out to Jones who has T-Rex thundering at the defensive line. Jones can serve him the short ball or alternatively with His superior ball handling, cut back inside to a storming Slater or throw the cut out ball to Hayne in the outside… an unstoppable force unleashed on the opposition.
This team is not only an attacking force, it’s also a defensive wall. Mark Geyer - a physical and aggressive defender, Kevin Iro - the original beast, Elias (triple Daly M hooker) is adept at leading the defensive line, and big Marty Bella and Nathan Cayless both being huge powerhouses up front. Not to mention Slater at the back if they happen to get through…
Wizards weapons - an unstoppable force in attack and immovable objects in defence. A well rounded team, whose complimentary combinations make the team greater than the sum of all parts.
