Anyway, It wasn't a massacre like plenty of people (Non wahs fans) predicted. Super proud now that I've had time to cool off.
Even Bunty surprised me!
Few bullshit calls. We know we're always going to get those calls go against us. Just need to develope thicker skin and a mean streak when this happens & use it to our advantage instead of sulking.

Those set moves the storm used to score wasn't a fluke. Papi & Hughes are experienced & know what they're doing. We had kids in our spine. We did fucking good!
What bs calls? I can’t really remember any? Yes I thought that last try could’ve gone either way but I thought the refs done a decent job?

i'd argue montoya's was too though, which changes the result
still steaming about hughes' milk
wtf was Montoya thinking there? Just had to keep running the same line towards the corner- he actually stepped back into the defender- bombed a certain try-
Had a night to forget really.

Watching live I thought it was a try too but the more I watch it the more I doubt it.

I thought the problem was the bunker wasn’t interested in seeing if the ball grazed the grass on the slide in but only was interested in seeing if Montoya forced the ball afterwards to which the commentators made comment of are we comfortable no part of the ball touched the grass there? The fact the ref sent it upstairs as a try meant that they should have provided evidence on that slide in as that’s obviously where the ref saw grounding if he did. Agree though he should have gone towards the corner rather than into the contact

Well that is true- probably wasn’t sufficient evidence to overturn it- thought Montoya gave himself up though.

I think what's most annoying is we kicked a goal to go 8 points clear, didn't complete the kick off set and didn't have the ball again.

These little things are the real killers. If RTS plays the ball properly, we probably win.

Instead, we gave them the tiniest sniff which was all they needed.

Yeah well that’s the crux of it- couldn’t close it out again.
There’s a good team in there- just hope they don't leave their run too late.

The next 7 games on paper are Ws. Should beat Raiders, knights, rabs, eagles and titans. Win those and we are sweet. Play like that 35 mins 9f that second half and we win all those games.
Not as confident about bunnies and Manly, tonight was promising though, we're building nicely

Ok now I’m not sure again.

I'm pretty sure it was part of the rule change in the last year or so.

The bunker checks every single try regardless of refs decision.

'Insufficient evidence' is still part of captains challenge but I think the Bunker ultimately has the final say on try or no try

As I said though, could be wrong!

DWZ needs to trust Berry has his man and stop looking at the center (Meany) and just run towards the winger (Coates). This happened a lot last year.
Berry has proven he can handle his man, need to see more trust this season. We need to see less holding when he should be pushing and less jamming this season. It's a bit of a career issue for DWZ though, so those can be hard to iron out.

This one was a ridiculous effort from Coates, but yea he definitely held too long given their lack of space and Berry covering hard.

I agree with our sponsor.

To be fair, that was pretty well defended, DWZ tackles his ankles at head height - who else is getting themselves into that position.

Any other winger I suspect DWZ crashes him out and it is us with the high 5s, two points and undoubtedly less semen on the Fox Studios floor that needs to be cleaned up.

That's why I said it was a ridiculous effort from Coates.

But DWZ was just a touch late getting on his bike, game of inches against the top four sides.
