The Te Atatu Rooster junior first played professional footy with Rochdale. Came back to NZ and spent the 1994 season playing for Waitakere City in the Lion Red Cup. Signed and played for the Wakefield Trinity before signing with the Warriors. He would only play 3 games for the Warriors.

We had absolutely nothing whatsoever with David Bailey last update and this time is no different. His name is far too common to get any reliable hits. Have searched countless Facebook profiles and dead end links but to no avail. The last known whereabouts are from his Wikipedia page.

In 2001 Bailey played for the Glenora Bears in the Bartercard Cup.

Bailey was then involved with the Ponsonby Ponies of the Auckland Rugby League.
