Pissed me off seeing Kafusi binned for a lesser version of what happened to Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad. Hopefully we don't get the same treatment this week.

Just want to see a solid performance from the boys. Let's try and complete the first couple sets especially. No shame in losing to the cowboys in Townsville. If we somehow nab this one I'll be very impressed.

If we dominate their forwards, I dont see their 1,6,7,9 pulling them out of the fire. Same with us though

I am waiting for two separate results to occur in the coming weeks. One is a great result like a 13+ win where everything clicks. The other is a blow out loss that will test whether the players are believers or not - that could have been last week where we probably should have conceded more points. Changing the culture and attitudes if a team that hasn't performed over a number of years takes some time and will come with the highs and lows of that change

I'm liking what I am seeing so far. Will be interesting as we get further in to the season and the attrition of the season starts to hit.

It will be yet another tough assignment, for the lads travel etc but early in the season so they should still be fresh.
A special milestone for Tahu, but I honestly don't think this makes much difference in their attitude especially early in the season.

My key stat is even posession at the end of half and 150-180 tackles made and we're in for a chance in the 2nd. We cant defend our line again for 10 straight minutes like last week, I don't mind defending in the 2nd half.

Apparently a lot of preseason training was with Tuaupiki at the back, so that could explain why we've struggled to gel with Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad at the back and a very different player.
I want to see more cohesion for our backs. Maybe a sneaky late switch for either Vailea or Berry in for Pompey.

Shaun Johnson needs to step up here. Wind back the clock, 1 try, 2 try assists, 4 repeat sets. Niukore and Barnett to fold some kients

Feldt is the fastest at the club at the moment apparently but I agree Holmes is a big threat. Taulagi close to the line too is a threat. We were one of only 6 teams to knock them over last year in Redcliffe during the regular season, I give us a real chance too.
