General Celtic v Wakefield OFF

Sunday's Super League match between Celtic Crusaders and Wakefield was postponed at short notice due to "unforseen circumstances".

The Crusaders were due to kick off against the Wildcats at Brewery Field in Bridgend at 1900 GMT.

But the Rugby Football League (RFL) confirmed in a statement issued at 1825 that the match had been called off.

"The RFL will issue a (further) statement later," it said. "No further comment will be made at this time."

More to follow.

Not sure if it's true but been told a reserve player has broken his neck.

During the reserves game. Should have more news later when the RFL give a statement. From what's been said so far he played for Wakefield, who's had a lot of tragedies over last few years with the deaths of 3 ex players and the shocking death of Adam Watene.
