Not bad. I quite like that the away jersey isn't a replica of the home jersey with different colours.

Haha I see it now. I probably wouldn't of thought that until a weekend in 2019 when they played the Sharks.

I’ll be interested to see if Savelio has recovered from the bad injury and gets into their team this season, he looked a good player to me.

The wife of Queensland rugby league great Kevin Walters has unleashed an extraordinary volley of abuse at the Brisbane Broncos, accusing the NRL club of betraying her husband and stealing an idea he pitched in his job interview.

Former Queensland State-of-Origin coach Kevin Walters had applied to become head coach at the Broncos to replace Wayne Bennett, but former South Sydney coach Anthony Seibold instead got the top job.

Walters' wife Narelle slammed the club, saying they stole a marketing idea he put forward during his interview and calling them a 'pack of c***s'.

Former Morons coach Kevin Walters admits to feeling disappointed after he was blindsided following the appointment of South Sydney coach Anthony Seibold to the top job

Walters quit last year and his wife Narelle has since blasted the team and called them a 'pack of c***s' for allegedly stealing her husband's slogan idea
According to The Courier Mail, Mrs Walters took to a private Facebook page and launched her abuse at the team after seeing the 'Better Never Stops' slogan.

'Driving around the city today, I noticed the Broncos have launched their 2019 marketing campaign. The exact theme Kevin presented in his 'interview,' Mrs Walters said wrote.

'What's the collective term for a group of horses/broncos? A team? More like a pack of c***s
Brisbane communications boss Steele Tallon denied stealing the idea from Walters, claiming the marketing slogan was created in June last year, before Walters even applied for the job.

'We would respectfully disagree with what has been said about the issue on social media,' he told the Courier Mail.

Following Mr Tallon's explanation, Mrs Walters clarified what she meant saying she was frustrated at the 'coincidental timing'.

Just picking up on her use of Anglo Saxon derived terms of abuse, I believe the correct collective noun is shower not pack

The Auckland Blues used the slogan "Better Never Stops" back in 2013

Interesting times at the Broncos at the moment. They aren't going to well. Legends have been dissing the club as their mate Kevin Walters didn't get the coaching gig.

They look to be losing Nikorima to the Warriors and also talk of Roberts moving to Souths. Players moving when a new coach comes in isn't surprising and they may need to free up cap space. But then you see the comments about guys not being happy on how some of the team mates that have left the club were treated.

Seibold probably feeling a bit of pressure being in charge of the glamour club.

The amount of $hit they talked about Kodi it was kind of good to see them get smashed last night.

Its tedious hearing the Queensland pundits wank on about how special the Broncos are... They really aint all that and have been given so many advantages. They have the most arrogant fanbase too.

Wayne Bennett 1988-2008
Ivan Henjak 2009-2010
Anthony Griffin 2011-2014
Wayne Bennett 2015-2018
Anthony Seibold 2019-2020

A tip for the Broncos while they search for their new coach. Don't sign someone with the first name Anthony.

Still better reading than our history. We have gone through a similar number since 2011.

As per QPS: Three people have died and a woman has sustained injuries following a two vehicle traffic crash in Bonogin this afternoon, Friday December 30.
Initial information indicates police were conducting patrols along Bonogin Road near Calanthe Lane just prior to 5pm when they observed a black 2017 Mercedes GLS 63 wagon allegedly being driven dangerously.
Police activated their vehicle’s warning lights and attempted to intercept the vehicle, however it allegedly fled the scene.
At no time was any pursuit undertaken.
Shortly after, police were flagged down by a passing motorist who alerted them to a collision involving the vehicle and a silver 2018 Mercedes A200 hatch around a kilometre from the attempted intercept.
Police and emergency services immediately responded, with preliminary information indicating the collision forced the silver Mercedes from the roadway into a power pole which was subsequently downed.
A fire then broke out in the black Mercedes and was contained to it. The sole occupant from this vehicle, a 46-year-old Bonogin woman was entrapped and freed by police. She was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition with an arm injury.
The three occupants of the silver Mercedes, two women and a man, were entrapped and police managed to free two of them, rendering first aid ahead of the emergency response.
Despite the best efforts of police, paramedics and the passing motorists who provided initial assistance, the trio died at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit will investigate the circumstances of the collision and appeal for witnesses, especially those with dashcam vision or CCTV of the crash, or the moments leading up to it to come forward.
The State Coroner has been advised. The Ethical Standards Command is investigating the incident

We just want to make it absolutely clear, Police were NOT in pursuit of the vehicle. They initially chased it with sirens and lights on but very quickly called off the chase in the interests of public safety and parked their patrol car by the side of the road. Then a member of the public came up to them to tell them that there had been an accident at least 1km up the road involving the said car and they then calmy drove to the accident scene. Again, just to be absolutely clear there was NEVER any pursuit of the said vehicle by Police
