That was just stupid by the ref
It’s an object on the field. Someone could trip over it.
The right thing to do is throw it out of the way.
Needs to be an investigation on this. Another clear example of bias reffing
In fairness, he actually took the shoe off the player and then threw it away.
You don’t want thisWell it would be pretty hard to throw it away if he was still wearing it![]()
Wrong right, rite is the right rite. What rugby league player hasn’t done that before?
It’s a right of passage.
It was pretty funny tho.The rule was brought in last season, the players know it is a penalty if they know the rules.
I don't agree with it, as find it rather amusing part of the game but it is what it is.
Sorry, I meant I don't agree with the rule. Boot throwing is hilarious. It was pretty funny tho.
Not so amusing if you're the player in the middle of other players with only a sock between you and someone's sprigs. Is the shoeless player meant to carry on (like he did) if play doesn't stop or till it stops? He can't stop playing and go look for it or his position isn't covered. The rule was brought in last season, the players know it is a penalty if they know the rules.
