Really enjoyed the point of difference we got from him first part of the season coming off the bench. It was a real strength for us coming on fresh and targetting out wide and we were getting some purchase from it . Wether he felt he had no alternatives or not Brownie's decision to move him to prop well n truly fucked with his mojo and he just wasnt suited for that role and at the same time negated a strength we had up to then. Faded out badly after that until injury took him. Where he sits in that rotation now is anyones guess.

He's best suited to the right edge. Started the year brilliantly there in short spells either side of halftime.
Didn't show anywhere near that level of talent when on the left or in the middle where he was made to play thereafter.
He should specialize on that right edge again but the difficult thing is what to do with Curran when Ben Murdoch-Masila is on. I personally dislike Curran at 13 because of this mediocre passing from left to right but subbing him off mid game seems like a wasted interchange

Interesting seeing Roxy Murdoch, Ben Murdoch Masila has joined the broncos woman’s team. Could make Ben Murdoch-Masila a target for O’Sullivan at Redcliffe.

Ben Murdoch Masila’s wife, sorry.
Thanks for clearing that up, I was going to say I like his attitude, some guys will do anything to win a comp even if it means transitioning to the nrlw.

Ben Murdoch-Masila was a weapon early on, but dropped off later on. If he can get back to that form he will be a big asset this season. My view he is a bench player with a couple of 20 minute bursts on the right edge. Has some competition though.

Agree, think the mistake is thinking he’s a big minutes player, if used as impact say 10-15mins either side of halftime/last 10 mins he’d be more effective. Just not sure the modern game can carry a sub for that now

Some people make reference to some big stints for Tonga between 2017-19 but the game was very different back then. The best way for him to play the super sub role at the Warriors, that causes the least disruption, would be for Tohu Harris to start on the edge then move into the middle once Ben Murdoch-Masila comes on. The tricky thing though is Ben Murdoch-Masila is most effective on the right, as is Curran, and Tohu Harris's ability to move laterally as a 30 year old coming back from an ACL is a big unknown.
