Unless that club is regarded as "Strategically important" ie Manly are the NRL's baby in North Sydney which they really want to keep. So money will be found by the NRL to prop the club up, even if the current owners/bosses are told to sod off and die. Suspect Warriors are in the same boat. But you're right, someone will buy the Warriors off Autex if it came to that.

Not quite sure where I land with this. Clearly passionate which is great to see as an owner, but I just dont think its all that helpful for the club when anyone associated with the club comes out and says "we must finish x position next year", just seems unnecessary. Sure say that within the walls of the club, but to share that outwardly I just dont see any benefit.

An owner should have high hopes and ambition. Fuck me, I'd rather that than a wet fish saying "I hope we can sneak into the 8 next season." Ambition, confidence and high hopes filters through work places.
He's only said that's his thoughts, and he clearly rates the roster. There are a couple more signings coming apparently. I think we're missing a Stacey Jones, but if Chanel Harris-Tavita develops who knows.

All our expectations are for the top 8 and I'd be disappointed if we miss out, along with 7 other teams.

He has the passion, the question is do they have the cash and willingness to use that cash for the team. Downside Robinson looks like a shoot from the hip type. The stars have aligned where Uncle Gus can advise him there.
