Now the Aussies are looking at selecting Semi Radradra...

I've seen that. What I don't get is to be eligible to play for Australia you have to be eligible for SOO right? Since Radradra moved to Australia after the age of 13 under SOO eligibility rules he shouldn't be eligible for SOO? But than its ok for him to be eligible for Australia. How does that work. Wish he would stick with the Bati.

To play SOO you have to play for Australia if you aren't eligible for origin you can still play for the roos buts what the point if you aren't picking up those origin pays

It's stupid and is just Australia bending their own rules to suit their self serving interests. SOO is nothing but an exhibition series now most of the eligibility rules around it are a farce. They might as well confirm its status as nothing but an exhibition series, and allow players who are eligible to play for SOO and are also eligible to play for a country other than Australia to play SOO and for another country already. Cause it's where SOO is heading.

I honestly think its time for the emergence of tim simona in the centres to take skd's spot. he is having a hell of a season so far and has become a well rounded player. SKD to wing cover same with hiku. Simona and whare in the centres

If Foran is out Te Marie Martin into the 6 jersey

I would be surprised if Kearney where to hand him his debut against Australia in the Anzac test match if Foran or Johnson where ruled out with injury.

The Kiwis play 5 tests perhaps 6 if they make the Fout Nations final this year. Including a test match against Scotland.

With the World Cup next year, I think it would be great to give the likes of Te Maire Martin, Levi I rate him higher than Cherrington, Simona, Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, Asofa-Solomona if he stays in league their test debut against Scotland.

Yes it is a test match but it's a match we should win comfortably so why not use the match to blood players in my opinion an increase player depth and give more options to Kearney especially as I stated earlier with the World Cup happening next year.

The Aussies are just better at it.
Well they do have 15 teams vs our one. The sheer numbers game alone means they have a lot more immigrant players to choose from but have no doubt Dave that if the Kiwis enjoyed a similar advantage we would see more Nathan Fein's and Brent Webb's lining up to do the haka. If the Kiwis go really short on centres, which is a very real possibility, you can guarantee that Solomone Kata and Konrad Hurrell will be selected in a snap...

Wouldn't surprise me if Meninga chose Radradra on one wing and Koroibete on the other wing such is the lax nature of international eligibility laws. There never really has been such a thing as eligibility laws.

Ozzy has always changed the rules to suit their needs.. especially choosing players in red hot form at club level then discarding them quicker then you can say bye. Akuila Uate is an example of this.

Heaps of hype around Te Maire but if Foran is unavailable the Kiwis should stay with Nikorima in the halves he deserves a place after that England tour.

Shaun in a Kiwi jersey is an easy choice he thrives in the test arena and should have plenty of club footy match fitness by the time the Anzac test rolls around.

Kodi/Shaun Johnson halves. Te Maire in the squad as cover.

1.Roger Tuivasa-Sheck 2.Nightingale 3.Whare 4.Hiku 5.SKD/Manu 6.Foran/Nikorima 7.Shaun Johnson.
8.Jesse B. 9.Luke/Cherrington 10.Adam B 11.Proctor 12.Mannering 13.Taumalolo

14.Matulino 15.Harris 16.Taupau. 17.Eastwood/Glenn .. Kearney is a loyal coach and hardly looks outside his circle of favoured players so can't see much bolters

Kata was named in the train-on squad for last season's tour but didn't make the cut to the touring party I believe...

Being born in Tonga I hope they stay with Tonga and don't play for the kiwis. Did they both come over wanting to play for the all blacks tho?

The All Blacks are probably the masters?

Not these days, last world cup NZ had 5 players born outside here, Wales and Scotland had 12.

People who make the argument that the all blacks poach players are basically just saying all the blokes born here with pacific island heritage aren’t “real New Zealanders”

I don't mind if the aussies select big semi, they don't have a lots of good specialist wings, last tri series it was Mansour and 18 yr old Sione Matautia - surely they could've found someone more ready than him.
