Internationals Anzac Test Match 2016

This has been hands down the worst build up to a Kiwis vs Kangaroos Test Match I can remember. The NZ media seem only to be interested in the fallout from The horror week that was for the Warriors while the Aussie media are single minded in their interest regarding the Eels salary cap saga. Sky are struggling to even retain the rights I mean C'mon!

We have yet to hear an interview from any players in the Kiwis camp as far as I'm aware and the questions for the Kangaroo players are related to Semi Radradra and how he's coping with the verdict handed down my the Nrl's integrity unit. pfft ...who gives a fuck!

The focus of sports journalism much like mainstream journalism in the common era has such a bias towards negative news stories, like as fans that's all we want to read about.

Yes admittedly the Kiwis team has lost several key players from their side which has taken some of the gloss off but FFS it's still a bloody Test Match and were 2 days out, start writing some articles and conduct some interviews ya bums!

Rant over.

Picking up on your rant the international game is a joke to Australia because it seems they have a monopoly on the game.

Winfield cup then NRL has appeared to be better than the ESL but the hysteria over State of Origin is misplaced.

It is a great format (state against state. Mate etc.)

But whoever started the "Origin is the pinnacle" bullshit did a great job at keeping control of the game in Australia.

But the Kiwis have developed positively over recent seasons to beat the roos well now.

So if Australia are willingto pull their heads out of their proverbials, the International game can not just improve but grow and reach more countries.

Just looked on the sky tv guide - still showing a nice big blank area on Sky Sport 2 with the letters "TBC" for Friday night.
So on Friday when the NRL is usually played the TBC Cup is on.;)

Sky have already said they will show it, just negotiating details, pretty normal really, sooooo don't worry
I'm glad we are going to get to watch the TBC Cup I think the Kiwis are good just of winning it. The rematch for is TBD.;)

Agree with everything you've said ... they should be promoting internationals in Sydney when was the last time we played at test match there, I can't remember.

The stadium's are too big to fill on a test match. Brisbane would be the best chance of filling Suncorp.

Here's hoping our mud backline can benefit from some Eastwood linebreaks, Ma'u killer hits, Bromwich offloads and the Taupau, Taumalolo double barrel shotguns.

My take on the roos fwds is mobility to throw it around a lot to play a fast game and get us tired.

Boyd is fine by me.
I'm hoping GI will be a weakpoint of their backline (Shaun Johnson to cut him up and step Boyd to score one try). (Cut through GI again then draw Boyd and feed our mud wingers for a stroll to the corner with Semi rushing across too late.)

Any reasonable back line will shine behind our forward pack
and it is a good back line, We got some experienced players in
there ,
On a personal note quite a few of the teams that Kearney
picks I don't agree with , But he keeps us there or there abouts
so what do I know, Go the Kiwis Bromich is going to dominate
an Tomalolo , Procter, It's a mean pack

Sky have secured the rights to Friday's transtasman league test and signed off on a new NRL deal that includes New Zealand-Australia test matches through to 2022.

Sky were locked in negotiations with the NRL yesterday but an agreement could not be reached, before finalising the new deal today.
League fans were growing anxious, as the match was listed on Sky's programme schedule with the allotted broadcast time between 9.30pm and midnight 'To Be Confirmed'.
Sky have the rights to broadcast all NRL matches live together with Fox Sports panel shows, including Monday Night with Matty Johns, NRL360, and The Footy Show.
However, test football was not included in their previous arrangement, with Australia's Nine Network holding the rights to international matches through its deal with the Australian Rugby League Commission.
"Sky's discussions are wider ranging than just this test," Sky director of communication Kirsty Way explained yesterday.
"There's no risk that Kiwis won't be able to see it."
Radio Sport has confirmed it will have a live radio call of the Anzac Test on Friday night.

Looking forward to the test.

Crap buildup or not.

Fourth string backline or not.

Excited to see what platform our forwards can set for Shaun Johnson.

I can't see Scott, Gallen, Thaiday and Tamou going down without a fight though and I think Morgan will be dangerous late in the game.

Here's hoping Taumalolo runs rhinoceros style through them all.

Quick play the ball and quick line speed will set us up nicely thank you

not selected or injured/unavailable:

If this team played the team for Friday... who would win?

Pretty good –

IMHO

Fullback: B team
Wings: A team – manu is not the same
Centres: B team – close, but Whare being the best of the bunch tips it
Halves: tie - neither TL or KF has Johnson's boot or running game, but they are specialists
Back row : A team
Props: A team - Bromwich is too good
Hooker: B team - has Kearney said why Luke was left out? Is it possible the warriors shut him down due to his knee?
Bench: tie

Put it this way, while the B team would stack up well against the A team by having the better spine and centres, the B's would not have the forward power to beat the kangaroos.

No false alarm they are paying $ 3.75, $13.00 for 13+ tho could be worth a lay $20

13+ would be a ballsy bet.
I've made a bit of money off the kiwis the last couple of years but tbh I won't be laying anything out this week.
It's hard to see where our points are gonna come from- to beat them by 13+ I think we'd have to keep them scoreless.

Usually the Warriors look to the Kiwis side for inspiration.

This time round they might want to call McFadden to deliver the backs against the wall, out gunned, and low on ammo speech.
