Sky are replaying the Warriors vs Storm game which includes so many Warrior legends, including Ali.
The game was so much harder , open and faster than what we see now.

Brings a tear to the eye, when everyone's complaining about the six again, the end of the shoulder charge, send offs for head high tackles and everything that's turning this game into A GAME FOR WOOFTERS!, to see that the commentators are leading the charge in keeping the game the way it used to be in still being anti-Warriors.

MIss Ali, but I don't really think there was much point in bringing him back in 2016. He didn't play a single NRL game, wasn't ever listed in the Tuesday team, either.

Ali back in the days in my view was better than SBW as far as offloading.
Just imagine the two of them in the team together.

Ali was good for sure, especially that back flip to Stacey at MSS...but SBW was the master...been nothing like him before nor since...and that includes the likes of Artie Beetson.

Definitely lives in Auckland. He’s been at the club on the days they hosted members and the pitch party.
