Who is left from the days when player power sacked Elliott? I’m asking about on field and off field/administration as the culture hasn’t changed. Lazy fucks at training, playing and the admin that allows it

So we need to sack everyone who isn't motivated to train and win at the highest level. When it comes to motivation family and church are way above money.
I think you are misinterpreting what I meant when I posted about Cappy’s farewell - my interpretation of it was that Green was likely the only player invited (it was just at a pub).Heyzeuss spare me even if Mt Wellington left this forum I would go to his farewell party, it is all part of the team culture thing. I am even more shocked to hear that Mannering and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck didn't go either. Have we a thread on Warriors team culture? ...cos from what this shows the club has zero, zilch, none. Dunno why I have bought tickets for next season and I am not surprised that Corvo has gone back home.

Culture of contentment.something doesn’t add up.....
Yes I did misinterpret. Where was Roger Tuivasa-Sheck though?I think you are misinterpreting what I meant when I posted about Cappy’s farewell - my interpretation of it was that Green was likely the only player invited (it was just at a pub).
Many people have done doctorate theses on culture in organisations. It is a deep subject.True that
all the past lip droppers have all left this club so how come we still have this player problem?

I have never studied corporate culture in depth but I have studied ecology. In ecology once an organism is surviving in a system it can be difficult to be rid of.
For corporate culture read Telecom - Spark...still a bunch of wankers. Fonterra...go figure. Changing a name, a logo, a CEO can mean nothing unless the root cause is identified and neutralised.
The organism in the Warriors is mediocrity. Daniel Anderson came in with a blowtorch and almost fixed it but the treatment almost killed the patient.
I fear ladies and jellybeans that a total clean out is necessary to wipe this scourge from the club, starting at the top.
Why? Because that is management 101. If you let the top dog get away with, then that is the standard. The top dog is after all responsible.
So you start by sacking the boss, that wakes the rest of the fuckers up, so they either shape up or head for the hills, fast.
Until now the slackers have learned from the ultimate bullshit artists e.g. Watson, Doyle and now George that bullshit not only works it is welcome.
Peter Robinson will know this, and he is responsible for the family money, so watch out team.
I have seen enough of Cameron George to know he thinks nothing of using bullshit. So to me he is just a bullshit artist. You can get to the top on bullshit, but you wan't stay there. Just watch Donald Trump.Mark Robinson otherwise an excellent post. I'm not sure about Cameron George yet. He can be hard to read but time will tell.
I think the players being lazy is something we have told our selves the we believe
who do you think they are
Roger Tuivasa-Sheck? no way
Ken? he tries harder than most
Hiku? Maybe but he has played for a few different teams and seems professional
Fusitua?
Chanel Harris-Tavita? seems very enthusiastic
Green? Seasoned professional
Paasi? Puts in a lot of effort and makes the most of his ability
Ah Mau? Seasoned pro
Harris? No chance
Blair? seasoned pro
Who are all these lazy lip droppers?
This team is stuffed cause of Kearney, he did a good job clearing the dead wood and making a few good signings but he has to go. His team selection, his game plans, total rubbish. If Michael Maguire coaches this team we are top 8 pushing top 4. It is that simple
All over the park there are periods of lazy play! Missed tackles, not chasing hard, slow play the balls, not getting into position early enough for your set plays, bad kicking options, bad coach, going down a try and folding like a peanut butter sandwich, getting beaten by 20 to 30 odd and then the skipper says we played pretty well. Sorry sheck wasn't one of your best moments, but when your rubbing shoulders with clowns you will trip over your massive shoes! A guru trainer that wont beat a dead horse anymore? Should I go on?
Doyle was top notch. Didn’t have enough time to get the results but set us up for last years result and we were set up to thrive from there.Until now the slackers have learned from the ultimate bullshit artists e.g. Watson, Doyle and now George that bullshit not only works it is welcome.
One gets the feeling that he would have worked very hard to keep Shaun Johnson and Corvo, although I do wonder how he would have got on with Brian Smith, especially with Watson still in charge. All speculation of course.Doyle was top notch. Didn’t have enough time to get the results but set us up for last years result and we were set up to thrive from there.
He’s gone and we’re back to average
Just as one example of why that is not correct, a top notch CEO would not allow Adam Blair to be signed on ridiculous coin for 3 years with a 4th year as a player’s option.Doyle was top notch. Agree with hindsight, but realistically a top notch CEO doesn’t always win battles... his job is to always win the war. So he will get right the bigger picture work towards the strategic goals.Just as one example of why that is not correct, a top notch CEO would not allow Adam Blair to be signed on ridiculous coin for 3 years with a 4th year as a player’s option.
Tahjay was distraught at the time...he was right to be.Blair’s signing was strategically good
