I can see why it was called a penalty and also why some might see it as a knock on. Im annoyed it even got to that point, had Manu been more careful and controlled the ball better a decision wouldn't have needed to be made. Could quite easily have been called a knock on and more often that not it is, we were just lucky to have had one of those 50/50 type decisions go our way.

ok i can understand the concern, and yes Manu is know for dropping the ball, but i feel that as someone said earlier that the opposition plays on this. Manu tries for a quick play of the ball. They try and slow him down and the ref accomodates them. Given that Manu is not allowed to walk backwards off his mark to make the play, i would rather see him make a play fast than stand there and cop the abuse from the chooks leaning all over him till they get tired of it. and yea it was nice to see one of those 50/50 calls go our way.
