Woah! Now that is a team! Unleash the Paasi! Seriously hope the young fullah takes his chance. He gives us the size on the bench we were wanting.
Stoked to see Henry get another start. Well deserved.

At 183cm and 106kg<- he'd be as big as or bigger than most of our forwards so I'm sure he will handle the physicality well and won't get dominated. With Gubb failing to make any impression during his promotion period, Paasi has a great chance to leapfrog him in peckin order. TBH all it would take is a couple of powerful runs and making his tackles. How big is Paasi? I couldnt find any stats on him.
Cheers for the update bro.Jayson Bukuya is still out. Agnatius Paasi will DEFINITELY debut. Well deserved. Has worked his ass off and been patiently waiting to get a run. He'll go good...
From the games I have watched Agnatius Paasi and Raymond Faitala-Mariner have been the most consistent players in that pack over the season to date. Thats been the key IMO.Cheers for the update bro.
Looks like the path to first grade is based on a high work rate in the NSW cup. I thought Poching was outstanding through the middle last week, Vete picked it up after he copped a headbutt in the tackle.
Both those guys could rightly have played instead of Paasi.
Agnatius made more meters but he was running wide.
Paasi out tackled every one else as well so he's stepping up to Fg as a genuine Prop backrow option.
I'll say it again for those that dont read all posts, Agnatius Paasi will DEFINITELY be playing...The more Cappy/players keep talking the more i'm convinced Paasi will play. Have we had any confirmation? if he's not playing I've never heard an 18th man get talked up like this.
Another alumni from the 2010/2011 GF winning period. The 2010 side especially was brilliant. Pretty much all of them either made a debut or at least picked up an NRL contract before fading away. Not bad for one team.
Did he not say going to the Titans took him out of his comfort zone?My only worry about him is whether his body will hold up. He was solid last year but has been plaqued by injuries lately.
Still amazes me that he was let go by the club and not 6 months later he makes the Auckland Nines Team of the Year damn near taking out the Player of the Tournament award then rips in for the Titans 1st Grade squad like he's a seasoned pro. All that after spending some 3-4 years in our development program and only playing one game.
Not sure whether its a slight on our development and talent identifying but its seems ridiculous that he would turn into a solid 1st grader after leaving our club so soon. Being away from home, family, friends, comfort zones etc would play a part but something is seriously missing at the Warriors...
Wow - great stats.
