General 2023 Warriors Jerseys and Merchandise

Puma can give themselves an uppercut. That bullseye on the jersey and the rubber logos just look cheap. On second thought presentation has not been a high priority in the Warrior regime.

The supporters gear the club have on their website aside from the official jersey and training gear can only be described as abysmal.
The collection has a very not so subtle ‘can’t give a shit about producing some quality branded product - let’s do the bare minimum if that ’ it’s an absolute disgrace what’s on offer and totally amateurish.
Can someone please tell the club, Warriors merchandise is also a marketing tool.
The more people wearing it the more awareness.
More awareness, more bums on seats, peepers on the box, more $$$ for the club.

Soooooooo frustrating.

The club has nothing to do with tier 2 and 3 suppliers. Those are all pimped out by the NRL to anyone who will pay the licencing fee. Typically you will see the NRL tag inside the collar.

Tier 1 supplier rules are pretty strict. You can only produce so many jerseys, polos, shorts, shirts etc and the team must be seen to wear them. So the training gear has to be worn during training. Polo must be worn prematch and media work. Jackets have to worn on field etc...

Other tiers are the Wild West and anything goes which is how we end up with trash like the hoodie you posted. FFS they even used our tiny thumbnail logo 🤦‍♂️ ...

A lot of the OG away popping up in the media day posts.
I think it is only because they have this retro theme going for the photoshoot, but it would be pretty lame if they did make an updated version for it for this years heritage, especially considering it is only few straight lines away from being the current away jersey.. 42CB2268 FF2F 4CD9 A0C5 213F3C8D0903

As a retro jersey that’d be spot on I reckon! It’s one of the best away jerseys we’ve had!

That retro jersey has been for sale for the last few years.
Was on the warriors Superstore website before Xmas (I put it on my family wishlist) but now it's out of stock 🤔🤔

Those bad boys, the originals, are some of the hottest property on Trademe. In good nick you're looking at $350+ easy. I've been keeping an eye out for a while, but they don't come up often, especially in smaller sizes.

I have a cotton CCC but it swims on me. Not game enough to sell it though because I haven’t seen one since I bought it.

OG CCC is at $500 quite consistently now.

Rather strange the club are promoting a retro that don't make a single cent off. Wonder whats up with that.

While there have been numerous attempts at the 95 away I feel none have hit the mark for various reasons. I would love to see a true retro. That jersey is iconic and easily in my top 5...

Every time I see the OG away I get ptsd flashbacks of our 2nd game when Illawarra put 40 on us running through our forwards at will as they stood like melting butter statues in the heat. That game was the start of the roller-coaster that became our lives, and the year I was diagnosed bipolar. Just a coincidence. Or is it...

If this was the states you’d probably have a lawsuit against the club.

Another thing that Ive been wondering is how the NRL can use the name and logo of the Auckland Warriors to make money but that old Auckand Warriors company stil owes money to players and vendors? Are they not liable to pay back debts???

The entity that owned the old Auckland Warriors brand was probably liquidated so there are no longer any debts or liabilities.

The rights to the name and logo were probably shifted to a seperate entity (or the NRL) before winding it all up.

Wigan Warrior

Had a few nods to it in the past with various kits, but an absolute replica of the OG kits would be awesome.

I'd quite like to see the red away kit (98 was it?) come back as well.

The club should do a ltd edition series of T shirts and sweatshirts with their No.1 fan Mark Dekker ‘ Do the Mahi - Get the Treats’ - a wee nod to the fresh start at the Warriors.
Do a cool illustration of Mark giving a thumbs in a classic illustration style…. Proceeds to his charity of choice …. I’ll take a M please.👍🏾
