Hi Everyone!

It's time to launch the 2023 Tipping and Bookie Competitions!

Access tipping from the main menu:

Quick recap on rules for those who are new:

Knockout Tipping:

• Each week pick 1 team that you think will win. Pick the correct team, go through to the next round without a strike. If you pick an incorrect team, you get a strike. Three strikes = elimination.
• Each player must be entered by the start of the first season's game. This deadline is is: March 2, 2023 - 20:05pm UTC/GMT +11:00 Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart (AEDST). Please note that for all competitions, the times will adjust for you personally based on what time zone you have set in your Preferences.
• NO ENTRIES WILL BE TAKEN AFTER THAT TIME. ENSURE YOU JOIN THE POOL AND MAKE YOUR PICK BEFORE THEN.
• Triple elimination - this means three incorrect picks (which produce strikes) mean you are eliminated.
• A draw counts as a WIN.

Tipping:

• Make your pick for each team you think will win.
• Enter whenever you like. Best to start at the beginning of the season, to ensure you maximise your chances to win!
• 1 point for a CORRECT HOME PICK.
• 1 points for a CORRECT AWAY PICK.
• 5 points for a DRAW PICK.
• Please note that these point values may change throughout the season, but we will inform you of adjustments in this thread if they are made.

Bookie

• Events will be posted in due course once the line odds become available. Stay tuned. Keep an eye out on your alerts / notifications!
• Each user starts with $5000 Bookie Cash. All cash has been reset back to this amount for the start of the season.
• Cash top ups may be awarded later in the season.
• Make bets on each of the outcomes, and hope that you bet on the correct outcomes.
• If you pick a correct outcome, your return is whatever you originally placed on that outcome + whatever the odds payout.
• Access via the Bookie tab in the menu.

Usually the users who play the regular tipping play the KO as well. If so if you name is on here, please check if you have joined the new KO pool.

Season starts today. Last day to join the knockout comp. Regular tipping comp you can join later(but will be playing catchup as you wont get awarded any points for missed rounds/games).

Also can someone on an iphone please check to see if they can now select their picks on the tipping comp. Wellington Warrior Vancent

Knockout tipping I keep getting an error message when trying to pick someone… no problems with the normal tipping competition.

yes I am only trying to pick on of the teams on the available list.

Does that happen with all available teams or just one or so? Can you please me the team you are selecting (screenshot) and the ensuing error please.

It’s any team I try and pick. Tried on the iPad and iPhone and happens to any team selected
