They may have been but, weigh up being coached by Bellamy in a super organisation vs Nathan Browne & the Warriors......who would you choose?
For me it wouldn't be about the coaches, it would be about the club. I've grown up a Warriors supporter so easy choice. But that's just me, I'm not an athlete lol. I still feel we need to be at least seen chasing guys like this.

He’s not the first tho - TJ was linked with Roosters earlier, Ardie mentioned league a while back and mentioned he would prefer one of the top teams (can’t remember who, maybe Storm).

Being in such a high performance professional set up like the All Blacks, it makes sense why they would prefer somewhere like that. A high profile spot star could easily fail in a poorer system.

My mate who worked at Auckland RL said that Roger Tuivasa-Sheck was absolutely shocked when he came over here. He was like “Is this all you guys do for training?” And would often do his own after the team one had finished.

Mind you, on a more positive note it looks like we could be turning a corner somewhat, I follow Curran and Walsh on Insta and can see Currans putting in the hard yards and Walshies been talking about a sprint coach. Really hoping some of these boys who have come through the Aussie system step up and show the others how it’s done

Jesus that is a worry regarding Roger's comments, not one bit surprising though. It has long been evident that the club lacks professionalism and standards, which has manifested itself in sub-par performances over the last 10 years. Very disappointing as a supporter but hopefully the club is slowly turning a corner. Time will tell.

Shaun Johnson said the opposite in his recent interview. Said he was shocked how little work the Sharks put in the preseason compared to the Warriors.

I got the feeling that the players over in Aus put in work in their own time to get ahead.

Bit weird though, didn't Shaun Johnson say on a podcast recently that the training problem is a myth, and that they busted their asses at the Warriors way more than they were doing at the Sharks the past couple of years.

I would say that the Roosters are a pretty well drilled team though.

There is always the risk of us developing someone like Metcalf then he pulls a Townsend and buggers off back to Aus.
Yeah you're right, thats always a risk but if we can get 3-4 years out of these guys with potential then its worth the risk. From there I think consistent success will encourage a bit more loyalty for guys to stay as well. We got 3 good years out of Maloney, Brent Webb we kept for 6. Even Wade Mckinnon was great to watch for the 3-4 years we had him.

Yeah a few fitness changes over the years since Roger came in 2016....Corvo in 2018 was supposed to have been a turning point too.

Dolphins also interested in Brandon Smith

"Martin confirmed to The Gold Coast Bulletin that the Titans were the first club to table an offer to Smith, followed by the Dolphins and Cowboys. One other team is interested."
If they get Munster, widely reported as their main target along with Ponga, you think they would have a better than decent chance to get his best mate, Brandon. Although the cap would be getting thin if they secured that spine

This kinda shit pisses me off. How the fuck are the Warriors not onto him???
I am sure it will be an agent shopping him around so we would have been aware. We already have a good stock of inexperienced outside backs and think we are looking to add someone with NRL experience to the mix.

Latest is Manu’s set to reject offer and we offering Brandon Smith $1 mil a season. Think we’re going to be subjected to these type of rumours until something official comes through. If we’ve offered Egan an extension, no way we offer Smith that.

We have re recruited Ballin Cupples.
Brown is filling his group with people he had at Newcastle I'd take it as a sign he wants to stay.
This is who we signed? Couldn't this have been done before nov 1? 🤦‍♂️

Reactions: ramps
I think plan c should be $500 000 on metcalf so he comes in 2022 right away and sharks have to release him early
And the other $500 000 on another forward.
