He’s not the first tho - TJ was linked with Roosters earlier, Ardie mentioned league a while back and mentioned he would prefer one of the top teams (can’t remember who, maybe Storm).
Being in such a high performance professional set up like the All Blacks, it makes sense why they would prefer somewhere like that. A high profile spot star could easily fail in a poorer system.
My mate who worked at Auckland RL said that
Roger Tuivasa-Sheck was absolutely shocked when he came over here. He was like “Is this all you guys do for training?” And would often do his own after the team one had finished.

Curran and Walsh on Insta and can see Currans putting in the hard yards and Walshies been talking about a sprint coach. Really hoping some of these boys who have come through the Aussie system step up and show the others how it’s done
