There's a huge amount of travel for the squad to deal with after Round 14. We'll need plenty of points in the bank as it's certainly not a given that Mt Smart will immediately become a fortress considering most of the squad have never played a home match there

Assume this means we won’t have Addin Fonua-Blake for the Anzac game or any of the home games in NZ as he won’t be able to get in the country. FFS.

14th Newcastle - we play once in the season
16th Bulldogs - we play once in the season



1st Panthers - we play twice this season
2nd Storm - we play twice this season



We’re ripped off with the draw! Admittedly the draws done before the seasons form is established but statistically this draw is going to cost us a game… it could be the difference between 8th and 10th.

Now mysteriously last year:
16th: Bulldogs - we played only once
1st: Storm - we played twice

Now even more mysteriously in 2020:
15th: Bulldogs - we played once
16th: Broncos - we played once
1st: Panther - we play twice



3 years in a row, the Bulldogs (a certain 2 points) we play once!

Broncos were a playoff team in 2019 & the Panthers were 10th.


Surely we get the Doggies twice next year once they've finally assembled a strong roster
Last year our draw was the softest out of everyone bar the Titans. This year we have exactly half our games against the teams who missed the playoffs in 2021 & also get to play the 8th placed team twice
