Internationals 2022 NRL ALL STARS

I think what this game confirmed was that Chanel Harris-Tavita is unlikely to be starting in the halves round 1 unless there are injuries. Given Ash and Shaun Johnson are somewhat injury prone he may get time there anyway.
Will be interesting to see how Ash goes in the trials as Kodi was solid given the conditions.
It looks like it will come down to what combo coach wants to go with....Shaun Johnson and a runner or good kicking/passing options on both sides of the ruck.
So nothing new for Chanel Harris-Tavita same old mud performances ever since he debuted but somehow he's still labeled as the next big half to take over.

Yes but lets wait till the trials to see how Ash goes.

Fox league 502 will be showing a lot of trial games so we can judge.

Nor sure about Sky Sport Nz.

As for Patty Herbert.

I told you jokers when we let him go.

Sad day as the guy has attitude in spades now his talent has improved.

Warriors loss. Titans gain.
Mostly I agree with this, but coming in often like that in club land against more informed or sophisticated teams will bring him undone and we’d be pissed off at it.

Not to mention not passing that last ball of 2021…..poor buggar.

I like the guy and would have him back for sure but also not missing him, as well as being glad he got straight over that GF moment - good on him go hard PH.

How many viewers were wondering if it was a possibility that the video ref would award an eight point try on the last play by saying Josh Addo Carr was pushed out of his line to the ball?

While the Video Ref(s) are incompetent I wasn't concerned that they would be that incompetent.

This was a great game and good for building depth in the Kiwi squad. Only 8 current Kiwis and a number who could feature in the World cup later in the year.

Man it should be in a main center.

Happy for Rotovegas but.

Aucks next please.

Would have been interesting to see the size of the crowd it could have generated at Eden Park, but what a week it will be for the Rotorua region and such a unique natural part of NZ for the indigenous Australian players to learn about that haven't visited there before. The stadium fits about 20,000 so it's big enough to make it an event.

NZMRL host all their tournaments down Rotorua, these days, so they had the inside running TBH Would have thought Hamilton would have got the nod though, the closest Stadium to the home of NZMRL - Huntly. Either way, it's great for the league in NZ to get that match here.

It’s a great way to give the teams a bit of a holiday alongside the game. You play the game but spend the week as a tourist in a tourist hot spot. Luging, white water rafting, zorbing, mountain biking, etc.

Great for team building and getting away from the pressure of the usual match week routine and you can’t do that sort of thing as easily in a big city.

The promotion of NZ to the overseas players is worth its weight in gold for long term future Warriors recruitment.
