There were reports they’d go to $1.1 mil. The zero tackle site that lists the players free to negotiate from today says he’s seemingly gone, personally I don’t feel confident. As others have said all signs say he’s leaving so who knows. I see Bennett has endorsed a draft system today, situations like this show why it might be necessary. Momirovski was due an upgrade at the panthers, we were close but he went with the roosters for $300k. Would think we were offering more, maybe not much but if Manu stays for less as well, teams like us are always going to struggle.

Has there ever been many signings announced in early November? I feel the fans just decided it’s a big thing but in reality the signings slowly trickle in till the start of the season. Normally there’s a couple of big fish that have to go first then the teams that missed out go after the scraps. Manu and Smith would probably be the big ones at the moment.
Nov 1 always gets overblown. I wouldn't expect big names to sign quickly.
I think the Dolphins will make a few squad signings soon, but might be awhile for any marquee names.

Could be a bit of negotiations going on potentially, would think Manu would give the roosters first shot out of respect for the club and that could be where rothfields news came from. They know now the roosters have gone to $850k, that would be the limit they would be willing to pay as he was reportedly going to get $800k offer, so they’ve already gone higher than previously reported. If we came in and blew them away with a $1.1mil offer, 3 or 4 year deal and the position you want, that must be pretty enticing.
