If Manu was going to resign with Roosters, why would he wait until the first three days of November to do it when he's had all year to?? He knows what the Roosters have offered and 'unofficially' know what the Warriors were 'likely' to offer.

I don’t know whether it’s us he’ll sign with, but every move the Roosters have made in the last two weeks all but confirms he’s gone.Oh thank goodness.
I was worried we weren't gonna sign Joey Manu for a second.
Then I saw it was only Buzz Rothfield reporting it.
Ik he’s good but man don’t risk it we come back to nz and he won’t be able to play, if we sign him it will be shockingNAS may become available in a few weeks. He is refusing to take the Vaccine which conflicts with his ability to play in Melbourne based on the Victoria State laws. Other teams based in other states may be able to pursue him. He has until Dec 7th to change his mind.

That’s the only thing I’m feeling there’s some hope to his article being bullshit, can’t see O’Sullivan or Bennett offering anybody $1.4 mil. Ikavalu has gone to the sharks, I think Manu will stay put.In terms of providing some goss - Redcliffe purportedly to offer Ponga $1.4M in the next few days. He will become the highest paid player in the NRL if he says yes.
because they had free more cash up it was said at same time they would offer considerably less figure in hope he will stayIf Manu was going to resign with Roosters, why would he wait until the first three days of November to do it when he's had all year to?? Ikavalu is awful. That’s the only thing I’m feeling there’s some hope to his article being bullshit, can’t see O’Sullivan or Bennett offering anybody $1.4 mil. Ikavalu has gone to the sharks, I think Manu will stay put.
That's one reason to like NRL360 the world gets to see how senile he is. Or he makes the statements he's always has got away with in his articles and the other guys shoot him down. Kent a couple of time this year has told him he was in la la land tonight.Buzz is really putting the boot in at the moment. Firstly how lucky rhe Warriors were to have nice accommodation without a mention of the toll living in Australia and constantly shifting is having. Now trying to turn us into another Tigers with players turning us down for less money.
I suppose when his job is to be Paul Kent's tv punchbag, he tries to look for others to bully.
The money is one side of it but he’s also said he want to play in the spine. The only way I see the Roosters keeping him is if they plan to phase out Keary. The guy is one head knock away from retiring. I’m sure they would kick themselves if Keary only played another year or two and they lost Manu in the process. But then again they chose not to play Manu there when they were pressed for halves depth this year and went with Lam/Hutchison etc. Walker and Tedesco obviously have the other spots locked down for the foreseeable future.
less money but more third party dealsWould be kind of random for Manu to stay with the Roosters at this stage:
1. Will be less money
2. Won’t be a spine position
3. Have signed Momo, so now have Billy Smith, Suaali there
4. Already knew we would be offering a mill for him, so why would he have waited til now if money wasn’t important and he wanted to stay at Roosters anyways.
Can’t see it happening tbh, but I guess stranger things have happened.
Roosters are typically near the bottom in TPAs (third lowest in 2019)less money but more third party deals
You are totally correct. Clearly they knew Joey's aspirations to be a spine player. This was the best season to have him in the 6 position due to all the injuries they suffered. There was nothing to be lost playing him there - they would get to have a good look at him, and he would've touched the ball alot. The money is one side of it but he’s also said he want to play in the spine. Whichever one my wife told me to.Let's be honest. If you had the two deals on the table:
Which one would you pick?
- SYD for $850k. Don't have to move. Familiar environment. High performance environment. Play where you are picked.
- NZW for $1m. Based in a hotel in QLD, but TBC beyond next year. Not a high performance environment. Play where you choose.
Quick round of golf with uncle nick- $10,000 a hole and the gap is closing.Roosters are typically near the bottom in TPAs (third lowest in 2019)
Even if he was at the Broncos or Storm who receive large TPAs, the difference would be absolutely tiny compared to the 250k salary difference he stands to lose
