There’s other good recruitment officers out there. We’ve proved we can get the best. Have to just hope that the owner can lure another gem. Thanks for all you’ve done Peter, the club should now recognise how not to waste money, how to prioritise youth development surrounded by elite players in the right positions. He has to look after himself too guys, and what an Awesome opportunity for him!

Who's to say they weren't trying to keep him? Massive loss though. Who do we have to help Browny on the recruitment side, no one now?
I’m sure they were, but that’s when the owners get the cheque book out. But like Fonzie said the opportunity of building a roster from scratch may have won him over.

I don’t think Brown is much help in the talent identification area where POS excels. You can see the level of talent from lower levels the POS was bringing in, we have badly missed the mark there over the past decade.

The new club with a ‘clean slate’ is a unique opportunity for a recruitment guy, you can see why he’d take it
For him absolutely…. For us it should have been a ‘sorry you are too fucking valuable to lose right as the 1 Nov window opens…so we need you to see out your contract’

FFS!!! im soo pissed that hes gone! just to top it off.. biggest recruitment period for us starts next week!!!! He now knows who were targeting and how much were have in the bank! Would not be surprised if Dolphins end up with joey manu!

I have no trust in Cam George, Browny and Mohawk to seal a class player! I hope they have learnt something from him though!

Thank you POS!! But F*&^ YOU!!

From a talent identifying perspective POS is a big loss. He’s one of the best around for it and Redcliffe signing him means that they will be quite happy to pick off our players as they see fit.

In terms of signing established players, I’m less worried. The big improvement came when we replaced Kearney for Brown. Prior to that POS was struggling to sign anyone of note. Players like Brown and are happy to play under him.

Brown for now is the key for our immediate recruitment although pathways and talent identification is becoming a worry with POS and Gould gone.

Warriors next head coach......... David Kidwell. Maybe our best hope is to keep Brown as head of football and get a new coach, Sigh!
