Huh? It’s wasn’t a forearm or elbow.

It was Campbell Gillards hips/thy when Frizzel went in for the low tackle. Head made contact when it should have been shoulders
True. That forarm/elbow looked like it made contact to the head though

Knights will keep runnning it at Fergie. Big Liability on D.

Mitchell Pearce choked down the stretch and was a big part of new castle not scoring in the last 15 minutes
Dropped ball / knock on
a mid field bomb that was too long and gave away a 7 tackle set

The Knights had no right to be in the finals but that was a good game.
That and the performance by the Titans shows the gap between the top and bottom right is not as much as before.
So the Warriors are not far off the pace
IMO assuming the game against the Titans was an aberration.

According to the July 2020 rules, a drop kick is described as “a kick whereby the ball is dropped from the hands (or hand) and is kicked immediately it rebounds from the ground.”
Isn’t there something about a “reasonable attempt” at a drop goal? Otherwise why wouldn’t players just put the boot to it after a drop?

There was a reasonable attempt. He shaped to kick, leaned back to redistribute his weight to kick and then made it look awkward but it was a kick/ kick attempt.

I think the top 3 Storm, Panthers and South’s are a class above just with the speed they play. 300+ points differential for all three teams across the season. Massive step up from the pack.

Manly and the Eels can fire up when it clicks. Have the talent but not as complete or consistent as the top 3. Eels faded while Manly have finished the season strong.

Roosters would be up there but are decimated by injuries. They are well coached which compensated for the talent off the field.

Knights, Gold Coast and the other ‘top 8 contenders’ are still playing the old style. They are the best traditional sides. Noticeable slower and a game plan around strength and power rather than speed and attack. All finished the season with negative points differential and can’t compete with the speed the top teams are playing at.
